- Hey! So we made a video to update all of you that have been asking and lots and lots of comments about Phil! He is fine, I think you're all seeing snippets of videos at night and certain points of the day where Phil is chilling out, also inevitably, your comparing Phil to energetic Teddy who is only just over 5 months old!
Phil is good! He's just getting older and wiser and less tolerant of cheeky Teddy's childish shenanigans haha. He's a big dog and like all of them, when he's not eating or out on walkies he tends to like to chill out, or howl at ice cream vans/police/ambulance/at dinner time/when he sees Mia and so on.... Anyway rest assured he is s good boy in good health! Thanks for watching again! x

Reminds me of Sparta (The Mean Kitty) when they brought in a new feisty kitten to live with them named Gadget. And Sparta used to be as vivacious as Gadget when he was younger. Sparta had that same annoyance look on him everytime Gadget got too energetic lol

Oh my goodness! We get the same questions about our Memphis! People always think she is sad, or that something is wrong. But they do the same thing and compare her to our younger husky. I guess people who don't have multiple dog households don't realize how much dogs change as they get older.

PhillyBear is the cutest and I have not once thought he was sad or depressed. Like you said Emma, he's an 8yr old dog and perhaps they see him losing his fluff due to his alopecia. Phil loves his Mum dearly, will do anything his daddy asks of him and will protect his Mia at all costs. PhillyBear is the most precious boi! 💜💚💙🧡💜
It's so nice to see the love Phil's pawrents give to the pup since he was a puppy to this day. Phil is such a lucky dog. I wish all dogs in the world had such luck.

Wow Emma and Shane! You scared me half to death! I'm so so pleased after watching the video that Phillie bear is alright. I was extremely worried about the title and I had to watch even though I was about to try to get some little sleep. (illnesses causing pain that limit everything) but the title meant I had to watch. I'm so glad I did and that Phil is alright, more than anything I have seen him "happier" than of late. It was so very good to see him again his usual self... I agree with you on the information that you wrote on the description of this video 100%
Our Siberian husky Kye is a very lazy sleepy dog to our family..... But he's walked by my husband every morning about 2 miles. He's also walked in the evening for a good half an hour at the least. This makes him worn out with just short bursts of play during the day.. People don't always realise the extent of what their owners do..
With Philip being 8 that's actually 8x7 yrs = 56 yrs old in dog years. dogs are 7 yrs to our 1 year, So Philip is an older generation. He's now classed as senior because he is over 7 and as such like you say they calm down a bit and are more relaxed, but add Teddy to the mix whose so young people are picking up the difference without realising the reason.. You and Shane are amazing owners and make an awesome pack with Mia the dogs and milo you have a huge work load with both having full time jobs I struggle to think about how you both manage to achieve all you do.

Maggie Donahue Wishing you a complete and quick recovery. Some hospitals and medical centers and groups have therapy dogs, you may want to ask around. Otherwise, if you are up to it, fostering a dog may be a good option for you. Good luck and sending your healing prayers.

I know, without a doubt, that Philly Bear’s mom and dad will look out for him, no matter what. They would assess and address any health issues before we were aware of them. They love and care for all of their furry children and Miamute. I have complete faith in them. Keep the video’s coming guys ♥️♥️♥️
I noticed that he has looked sadder since Teddy arrived. Phil is the best. We all love him. Please give him an extra treat from all of us. I lost my Best pal recently and I got very sad again when you said he wasn't feeling well.🇨🇦❤️

I always love seeing videos of the family. Everyday I know you probably hear this from other people here, but I feel like a member of the family. Not a lot of people know this about me but I was always scared of dogs. I believe it started when I was a child I would see these big dogs, and I was always scared that I was one day get attacked by them. Eight years ago that all changed when I became a proud owner of a rescue dog. Shes a big 64 pound baby that from the moment we met I believed she knew and could sense my fear. At that moment she turned into a very gentle baby, ever since then the fear went away and I'm so very lucky to have Wendy my dog. I never thought I would ever get over the fear. She was abused and mostly kept in her crate till she was surrendered to humane society. We both was afraid of the same thing I believe but her was humans while mine was dogs, so he helped each other overcome our fears. Much love to the whole family.

Dogs get allergies, if your concerned about him sneezing. He's a senior citizen, he doesn't have the puppy energy. Older dogs sleep or rest more. Philly is so smart and cute!!!
The sneezing with Phil isn’t allergy related (thank goodness), it happens when he’s excited. Its soooo sweet 🥰

Dogs often sneeze when excited. My English setter (almost 15) sneezes and "grins" when he sees us coming home/food, etc. It's perfectly normal

I really deeply appreciate this update on Phil-bear. I think I can speak for the group when I say he’s kind of our favorite dude. During the day, I often wonder what he’s getting up to at that particular moment. He’s a real good boy! 🐻
thank you for this video x Aside from being all Philly bear (therefore my favourite recent vid along with the Mia/Milo one) it did make me feel better. I worry, that's my job =) I love Phil so much more than any animal I've only known online (+ Milo) & I know he is much older than Teddy. I also know that you & Shane take the best care of your animals humanly possible. So my head knew he was ok but when I looked at that face...... anyhow, thanks again for putting this old worrier at her ease xxx
