Punto is the best car ever! Great movie. Although we didn't get to Mongolia, but our Punto took us to so many places in Europe and Asia including Georgia, Armenia or Iceland's interior. Our plan for next expedition is to get from central Europe through Turkey, Iran, Pakistan to India. And all the way back of course ;) Anyone willing to join?

Wow sounds like you have a plan! The Punto is a solid travelling companion but I do fancy something with a bit more ground clearance. Good luck on your travels and thanks for watching.

Thanks Stephen, I’ve got another Mongolian adventure this June on a Monkey bike which I’m really excited to share when it’s all done, hoping to post plenty more this year.

Hi, I did fit a really bad front sump guard but it didn’t really work, other than that just the roof box and lots of spares. I ripped the fuel line in Kazakhstan which I managed to patch up so I wish I had protected that area. Thank for watching.

@@TheJam_Fest that Fiat was my everyday car for 6 months leading up to the drive to Mongolia got to say I loved that car and was genuinely sad when we had to leave it. Didn’t even get a puncher!

Punto is quite a reliable car. During our travels with punto in the Pontic Mountains or in the Iceland's interior we installed an oil pan shield and replaced the rear springs with those from a Fiat Brava. They fit and the car is 4cm higher. No other modofications were needed so far.

The cars you said were 2010 were Y reg and 51, These are from 2001 and 2000 and not 2010. Epic journey and epic video!

Hi, I was referring to the year the cars did the rally not the actual age of the cars, I just went by the sticker on the bonnet. Glad you liked the video.
