It looks like it will work only if your device supports dual Bluetooth connection (like Samsung's newer phones). Otherwise you'll need to connect the strap to BT and use a cable to connect your headphones to the strap (basically using the strap as a BT receiver).
Tried this for vr and it can get pretty annoying with how much it vibrates with just ambient noise. I wish it only picked up the vibrations from gunshots, explosions, injuries and whatnot. It is, however, pretty amazing for rhythm games such as beat saber and pistol whip. As for listening to music, it's also pretty good but I do agree it can get gimmicky at times.

Excellently thorough review! Mine should be arriving today. I'll have to figure out a way to split the hardwired audio since I know the DAC will be sub-par, but we'll see. One man's junk is another man's treasure. I'll be sure to post back my review.
So after a couple days of fiddling with this thing, I find myself wearing it most of the (working) day. I personally need it hardwired, for full signal strength, and zero delay. I can't use it with a DAC or preamp as it's immediately overdriven, and using Tidal's Master level streaming, the source needs to be turned down around 60%. I also have to reset it to Focused Mode each time I turn it on, which is unfortunate, as it usually takes me a while to remember. I wear it on my waist at 9 o'clock. I tried it on my chest, but it kept slipping, made my chest itch, and was just annoying to adjust or remove. I dial in the source volume, and then manage the bass and headphone volume from the unit, but I usually don't readjust after it's first set. There seems to be a sweet spot where turning the bass down a notch is too weak, and turning it up a notch makes the bass distort. All in all, I'm eventually pleasantly surprised, and really like this thing.

Wireless earbuds or woojer, choose only one...
Just got mine today. It kind of sucks. Feels weaker than I was expecting given its size
So did you leave it in the closet with the other items that was only used once and forgotten? Lol.
@@bobrob1825 Exactly! That reminds me, I should go grab it and throw it in the garbage
@@djlowtek nah give it to someone less fortunate so they can see how much they are not missing out. Lol
Seems like a really expensive paper weigh.
I just bought a strap edge about a week ago... its so not worth it. I'd rather press my JBL speaker into my leg, it would work better. Just imagine ur phone in ur pocket vibrating to your ringtone. Grab your phone and put it up to your chest. That is the extent of the woojer strap's potential. And yes I did use it correctly. Tried the demo, calibration, charged it fully multiple times, and watched all the setup and instruction videos. Really disappointing. Cool concept, but worth 30 bucks MAX. Maybe the vest is cool, I don't doubt it, but the strap is not it. (tried it for both Xbox and music)
Which is the game??
Half Life Alyx.
