Hey Vladd! Just some tips from my personal experience with the game: 1. When you use the ghost box make sure all the lights around it are off. It'll work like that if the ghost is the right type. 2. When all the lights start to flicker it means the ghost is 'hunting'. That means run and hide and don't make a noise. 3. Flashlight is your best friend. You can use it while you hold something else in your hand. 4. EMF Reader and Thermometer are the best items to go into the house the first time with. One or the other will usually detect something and youll be able to recognize the room with the activity quick. 5. When your asking the ghost questions you don't have to say its name. Saying its name will only make it aggressive. So unless your trying to make it appear for a picture don't say its name. 6. Turning on too many lights in the location will cause the breakers to shut off. Try turning on lights to check rooms but turning them back off when you leave. I know you like gathering tips from the comment section so this is my attempt to help in some way :). Keep being awesome!

IE. Salt piles they walked through, written books, oujia boards that are being used, fingerprints/footprints, voodoo dolls, dirty sinks, bones (can pick up bones for extra cash after you take a picture) etc. 3: Dropping salt piles in choke points/door ways/hallways/stairs can help you figure out where it's path of movement is. I typically take some in with me on my initial sweep through the house, dropping it at choke points/stairs/doorways.
Yeah and none of the ghosts "fly" he said in the video "it wasnt flying though" the wraith dont have a flying animation they just barely touch the ground it says in the journal for the wraith it helps.
I'd like a DLC of this game in which you are the "clean up team". You have to work on the hints the investigating team gathers. If the hints are wrong, tough luck, try to find out what it is and deal accordingly. Or, if the hints are wrong and the clean up team cannot kill the ghost, they have to leave, not get paid (or only a little) and investigators need to go there again. (without pay this time). And it doesn't reveal if they are right or wrong. Like 4-8 player game, half are investigating, half are exterminating. ..or, if not enough friends around, play as one, then as the other and vice versa. ..just a thought.

Random commenter just wanting to let you know that things WILL get better for you. Whenever I'm struggling with my own depression and anxiety, sometimes little things are what help me the most. This could mean anything from watching YT videos or a new show/movie, reading a new book, losing myself for a few hours in a really good video game, exercising, or listening to music and focusing on my breathing etc. These things may not always make the crappy feelings go away completely, but can help just enough to make it more manageable. Try to find the things that bring you comfort and joy. Anxiety can be very, very difficult to deal with, but please know that it can be better managed over time, and you WILL get there, don't worry! :) Keep your head up.

I actually had the phantom phone thing happen to me. When my grandma died my family and I were clearing out her big old house - there was an old puce green rotary phone on the 2nd floor. It was not plugged into the wall or the phone jack yet the damn thing would ring once or twice, and when you picked it up it sounded like really quiet voices in heavy static or wind. One time my mom picked up when it rang and a voice whispered “get out.” Not to mention the air around the phone was always ice cold. I’ll never forget the chill that went down my spine when that thing would go off. I was a skeptic until I spent time alone in that place, then my beliefs changed drastically.

You should get the thermometer since its a very important item in the game to locate the ghost early on, take the thermometer and walk into a room about 5 seconds and look at the thermometer, if its under 6 degrees celsius theres most likely a ghost in there, if not keep looking in other rooms

You have to ask the spirit box questions with the lights off. You may also have to be alone to get a response. When it comes to the dirty water, you may have to ask it questions near a sink source, and it will turn the water on.

The crucifix will only prevent the ghost from starting a hunt within that area; it will not end its hunt once it's already started.
