Yes, it was nice to explore this stretch - paddled further down the canal in another location about a week ago. Clearly at least a swimmer confident enough to swim (or just doesn't care about being radioactive). There's quite a bit of boat traffic there after all..
Yes, this was a lot of fun! The trip on Göta kanal itself was fairly short, but the overall trip from Vadstena to there was awesome - and of course quite eventful with the heavy waves that appeared on lake Vättern as the weather shifted to something much worse than the forecast...
Awesome trip Patrik, you have some amazing spots over there for kayaking. That first loch you came to I wish you had filmed getting back in because it looked very high, so would have been nice to see you conker the mountain Hehe. Beautiful footage Patrick great video. When you have time check out my latest post Especially at the 14 minutes mark a bit just for you !!!
Thanks George! It was high in fact, but further down there was an area with only maybe 0,5 m or so elevation where I could climb down into the kayak. This was a good trip - same as the one with the crazy waves on lake Vättern. Now that ice cream boat in York sounds like quite something! You said I'd be jealous at some point I think and I am 😎
Sure! In this video I'm using the Itiwit X500 paddle from Decathlon, more info here: www.itiwit.co.uk/how-to-properly-use-the-collapsible-adjustable-x500-kayak-paddle
That canal looks great to explore, and clean enough to swim in, wow!

Awesome to paddle on Göta Kanal and a long trip too!🙌

Nice to see my new kajak in action :)
@@CrucifersGaming Ah! 😎 Congratulations on the new kayak!
Endlich mal eine Tour, die ich noch nicht gemacht habe.🤣, viel Spaß noch.
@@kajaktourenswfinland 😎
Your not scared of boats racing through and making you tip over😉🙃
@@hifly1929 Good point, but there's an assigned max speed on this canal (5 knots).
@@AirOnTheWater I was just referring to the movies 😆😁 they are awesome 🤪
@@hifly1929 Aha, you mean Göta Kanal 😂

@@AirOnTheWater Glad you found a lower spot to get in and enjoy the rest of your trip. AS for the ice cream boat I knew it lol.
@@THE-RIVER-RAT Hehe. My weaknesses are known.
What paddle do you have? Any link or name? Tnx😊

Tnx, does it come with this lace?
@@Crotrails If you mean the paddle leash, that's not included, but it's normally cheap to purchase online or in a store.
