Sharon, you are amazing the patience you have while making it fun, and Jair you did fantastic!! What s fantastic friendship. I serously shed a tear, for this friendship!
When I got my license my mom’s one stipulation was that I had to learn to drive a stick (also our family car was a manual). The way Jair was able to take off so smoothly on her first try was very impressive. It took me forever to get the clutch/gas ratio right so I didn’t stall out. 🙌
My Uncle got me my first car when I was 21, and a single Mom. I got the car before my license lol! It was a stick shift too lol! Scared to death to learn a stick shift, but it's something I will always be happy I learned!💜🖤💜 Ps.....I look forward to Tuesday's now!
My first car was a Triumph Spitfire stick shift. I was 16 years old. My dad took me out in the rain in the foothills to teach me how to drive it! Thought I would never want to drive again 😂 lol! I loved that car! Feels like you are really driving🏎️lol
Omg when she got the hang of it, i let out happy mom tears. Man im a sap lmao. But i love these two so much i cant help it. I dont even know jair and i feel so proud of her!!!
This is hysterical! My brother-in-law tried to teach me to drive a stick in a beetle, but I just couldn’t figure it out. I did learn how to later in my husband’s mustang. The older sticks are harder, as the gears are further apart then in new ones.
yo jair did so good for her first time!!!! i can’t even remember how many times i stalled out my first time. or my second or third if we’re being real lmao great job fr
What are my favorite core memories with my dad when he had his SAAB end. It was a stick shift, and one of my favorite memories was switching gears with him. He would put my hand on top of the gearshift and his hand on top of mine, and we would switch gears together. Another core memory I have with my dad is that when we entered our neighborhood he would put us on his lap and we would drive home. meaning I would steer the steering wheel.
just found these and watched the first one and subscribed. love seeing you teach her but she'll be teaching you too i imagine lol born in 1960s and learned to use both automatic and manual transmissions in southern wv. so you can imagine how terrified i was of stop lights on hills. people would pull up to my bumper and i was afraid of drifting back shifting into gear. glad to see jair push start the car. did that by myself several times for friends and family. has jair had trejo's taco? maybe an episode idea?
My mom taught me to drive a stick. It was a Pinto station wagon. Later as I was driving home from a friend's house the stick came off in my hand. I had to drive all the way home in second gear. Turns out Ford used cheap nylon threads to hold it in.
My brother-in-law was trying to teach me manual (in a buggy also) before he passed and I could not get the hang of it….I kept shaking the car…..😢 this really reminded me of him fond memories
My first car was supposed to be a Chevy Chevette it was silver and a manual. But I wasn’t able to get my license until later in life (please dont hate on me I have good reasons) my parents sold the car. I would totally be Jair-like if I had to learn how to drive manual. This video is awesome!
I'm a farm girl almost all tractors are stick as were most of our trucks . My youngest 2 aunts drove the tractor together at age 5 and 6. One sat on the floor of the machine and worked the breaks and clutch the other drove and shifted. If a 5 and 6 year old can drive a clutch you can too.
Here in the Netherlands most of the people learning to drive start with the stick shift.... if you can drive a stick shift you can automatically drive automatic transmission. But if you only learned the automatic transmission you can't drive a stick shift. But seeing all those hybrid cars nowadays and the majority of them being automatic transmission I think in the future most people only need to know how to drive (and for a lot of people even that is impossible 😉😂) And Jair you did a great job learning to drive a stick shift this fast 👍👍👍👍
I'm 30 and can't drive a stick shift. Never had anyone to teach me. The bond between Sharon and Jair is amazing and I'm glad at 22 Jair is willing to learn things and she has someone to teach her and be patient with her. She will no so much more than most millennials lol seriously though, everyone needs a friend like Sharon for sure. JAIR too. Because really sweet. Their bond is amazing.
I’m 31 and just recently learned! I had a ‘97 Honda accord with over 300 miles on it that crapped out and didn’t want to put the money in to fix. I got a kia soul that was a manual for a really good deal and was terrified to learn! I was really overthinking things at first but it’s been 4 months now and you don’t really think about it anymore.
@@kathrynmarrs7104 I would like to learn. Sidenote I also just turned 31. Anyways I really want to learn. Actually I probably should, if I could get someone to teach me.
My boyfriend is the one who pushed me to get the car and he also taught me. He’s only ever had a manual so I would say pretty experienced. I DON’t want to say he was a bad teacher but he made me too anxious lol we went out to a big empty parking lot at the school nearby and had him explain the gist of it and got out and let me ride around the empty lot alone. It really helped me a lot doing it myself with him nearby if I needed
Jair killed it!!! I think the parking garage was the perfect place to get all the kinks out. The one time I tried to learn stick I was just in a downtown neighborhood at almost rush hour so not the most ideal. Kudos to Sharon for being an excellent teacher.
This reminded me of when my dad taught me to drive stick. I had to learn in 30 minutes and then drive 4 hours by myself back to school. This was awesome!
First gear is the hardest. If you can master that, the rest is easy. If the speedometer isn't working, use the tachometer. I learned to drive a stick in my 20's, in a 1971 Triumph Spitfire. I loved it so much, I had a Chevy Cavalier 5 speed. I miss that car, but due to a bad back I could no longer use the clutch.
She did SUCH a great job!!!!! Sharon you're a fantastic teacher, I'm so impressed! I learned in a cemetery, I really give you both credit for doing this in a parking garage. So proud of Jair! Congrats! Such a great skill to have.
This is such a wholesome video. I love the bond between you two. You’ve always been my favorites on PvF, and now getting to see you outside of the episodes is great. So far, my favorite video. I can’t wait to see what more you guys get into!!
I wish Sharon had been the one trying to teach me to drive manual when I was a teenager instead of my parents. I might have actually learned. I’ll never forget my mom screaming (in terror)in my ear. Or my dad finally throwing his hands up and saying I’d never learn (I still haven’t over 30 years later).
The bond with these two is magic. I'm so happy they found each other.
Highly x boldly co-sign
Me too ❤
Are they dating

Miss my 96 red mustang that was stick 😢
❤😂🎉❤
You make me want to go out there and learn. Go job girl.
I’ve never driven stick it scares the crap out of me 😂
This is hysterical! My brother-in-law tried to teach me to drive a stick in a beetle, but I just couldn’t figure it out. I did learn how to later in my husband’s mustang. The older sticks are harder, as the gears are further apart then in new ones.

sharon is the aunt i’ve always wanted
yo jair did so good for her first time!!!! i can’t even remember how many times i stalled out my first time. or my second or third if we’re being real lmao great job fr
Omg!! 🎉 ❤it
You did great Jair! First time I learned I stalled instantly at least 5 time before I even got going, lol.

.... what about REVERSE??? 🤣🤣 But yeah, I thought for sure Sharon was going to get whiplash, and it NEVER happened. Great job ladies!!!
OMG ❤❤❤❤
Better than my wife she tried stick driving and back the car up into the neighbors bushes and dirt was in the exhaust so great job ❤👍

Omg I can't watch no more it hurts and funny I wish someone taught me this way!¡!!!😅😅 still watching 😊😊😊 good job
As a South African it's nice to see how similar our driving is
The push start was epic
Jair is awsome 💙
I feel like everybody needs to Sharon in their life

Jair u did a great job driving a stick. As for me I’ll just stick to my automatic 😊😊😊
I LIVE for these videos. Your connection is magic. I love it. ❤️
I was 8 when I learned how to drive stick. Taught all my kids how to drive a stick.
I wish I had learn how to driver a stick , that's so bad ass ! 😉🤘🏾
😂😂😂😂❤❤❤❤❤
Yay!🎉🎉🎉🎉 My favorite people Congratulations Jiar! Sharon you are an awesome teacher and friend
Sharon is like the big sister I always wanted. Love those two. 😅😅😅 always a good time with them 🎉❤❤❤❤❤
I love you two and Sharon is a brave babe- but she should thank all that’s good that Jair isn’t left handed!

🫣😳🙋🏾♀️ Oh, my! My Father taught me how to drive in a cemetery, as well.
My Great-Grandmother and my Great-Uncle spirits were nearby. 😌
My friend and I used to drive her parents car like they are co driving the beetle. It worked great because we were both left handed.
Sharon is giving me a ton of driving tips lol
This is such a wholesome video. I love the bond between you two. You’ve always been my favorites on PvF, and now getting to see you outside of the episodes is great. So far, my favorite video. I can’t wait to see what more you guys get into!!
Now after a month or two of practice we can teach her double clutching a semi.
These three together are MAGICAL and I love it... 🖤
My stepgrandpa had a stick shift that he willed to my sister who is learning how to drive right now. It was really fun watching this video.
I wish Sharon had been the one trying to teach me to drive manual when I was a teenager instead of my parents. I might have actually learned. I’ll never forget my mom screaming (in terror)in my ear. Awesome job both of you, well done! Jair learning to drive stick & Sharon teaching. 👏👏👏👍✌️💚🥰🚗
I wish I had Sharon to teach me. I had to teach myself. Jair did great!! ❤
Jair's smile is so great.
