Thanks! Indeed, I just used ableton for recording. The synths I'm using are the korg volca samples, volca bass, novation circuit, electron cycles, mininova and waldorf streichfett. The cycles sends the main clock through a midi cable midi to the circuit, from there it sends midi to the volca bass and that one just connects with a patch cable to send clock to the sample.
In this setup I used the Mininova to play the Waldorf Streichfett, normally I would use the Mininova mainly for processing my vocals. For my last live performance I replaced the Mininova with the TC Helicon perform-VE for easier transportation. I use the sounds of the Mininova preferably for making prerecorded tracks where I can just live record custom patches. These songs were made in that manner, all the synth sounds come from the Mininova, It's less EBM and more Coldwave/minimal synth sounding: soundcloud.com/1ncvbu55/i-wanna-go-down-down-down soundcloud.com/1ncvbu55/dont-let-the-world-divide-you
Then you call it Italo Dance, Harald. Music is about the flow, the feeling, the emotions it lets you (re)experience, the goosebumps, the feeling of belonging or feeling different... it's about duality and union, it's about every human aspect of life we can encounter. It's about sharing and experiencing a piece of our Soul. It's about recognizing ourselves, or a part of ourselves in a piece of art. It's not about the label. And sir, would you tell Picasso that his art is anything but abstract? Because he is the artist so he labels his art whatever he wants to name it. Because just like this artist, he shares a piece of his Soul and the only one who has the right to name it is the artist himself. 🌺🙂
That was brilliant, loved every bleep.

Cool to see someone else using a mininova for this kind of music. What patches are you using?

Not what i call Electronic Body Music. Sounds more like Italo Dance Music.
