This mod was a slight let down. No disrespect to the creators, you guys did a good job on the design, but I think it would have appealed to the audience more if it had wild amounts of damage, ALONG with the great ability.
ya, with the perma-portal, degree doesn't matter at all. just get a degree 1 and let it go forever
it's definitely not working correctly, I don't think anyone would create a tower like that intentionally
My guess is that the crit mechanic actually messed up the paragon, seeing how the ability did a lot less damage when it got a crit

Anti-Bloon became the anti-climactic paragon.
Yeah they just made the portal have no cooldown. That is the main ability. It’s technically always going to win. You can beat every round because the portal will just slurp them up.

Me always getting a Paragon on Impoppable:
I looked through the code of the mod, and it looks like for every paragon there's a set value for the damage on the main attack (e.g. "WrathAttack.GetDescendant().damage = 250;" for the druid). The Super monkey paragon does have not have this for its main attack. It instead only has one for the ability damage, which is why it is so great, starting at 200k damage, and scales up to ~400k (degree 100 in sandbox). It also seems like the paragon was intended to have different behavior depending on if the paragon was created with a vtsg or a regular tsg. Its arms change color to all black, but their positions bug.
I don't have experience with btd6 modding, but this is what I saw.

Guys come on, think for a second. Maybe if your TSG becomes vengeful, it has the option to upgrade to this paragon.
I'm not saying it's normal, but it makes a lot of sense for a mod to do.

They already said that super paragon is not on their current list, because vtsg already is that

@@yoyoy9546 just gave me an idea that a super monkey paragon functions like a sun god, but will only sacrifice other paragons with no limit on sacrifices
this could mean the paragon is quite cheap (and weak) relatively however relies on sacrificing high "worth" paragons to be stupidly strong
the "worth" of a paragon depends on the cost and degree so high degree, expensive paragons boost the stats the most
The portal does have a lot shorter cooldown, but I think the creator of the mod forgot it was an ability whose cooldown gets reduced from the degree, which makes later degrees have 100% uptime (cooldown starts ticking from portal activation I think)
Yeah I can confirm it’s from activation, which is why several daily challenges have resulted in permanent portals in vanilla BTD6 with 5% cooldown timers.
Every third ability deals less demage because its a crit - crits with this paragon are bugged to giving like 1/4 of the demage instead of 5/4 of the demage or smt (his normal attacks also crit and that is why his nor al dmg is so weak).
Archmage is actually the closest tower to a paragon without being a paragon, since it gains the tier 3 of the other two paths

@@peachorange2 yes, but funnily, it doesn’t gain camo sight so the shimmer is the only way to see camo on a 520 apprentice

Me personally I considered the vtsg the paragon cuz you need all three of the 5’th and sacrifices but that’s just me tho but seems like a cool concept
NK confirmed vtsg isn't a paragon, there will (hopefully) be an actual super monkey paragon in the future.
i feel like a super monkey paragon should require sacrificing other paragons to get up, anything less than that and it feels undeserved

I’ve always seen the VTSG as the super monkey paragon. The paragon before paragons.
It incorporates the design of all three paths, requires a sacrifice of all three T5s, and even unlike paragons doesn’t let you place any more tier 5 super monkeys
I agree with VTSG being like a paragon from before paragons, but it definitely doesn't include the design of the middle and bottom path supers. No double arms, no ability, no portal, no darkshift. It's just top path super monkey but edgy and powerful.

That's kind of a stretch, but even if we accept a visual similarity, that really doesn't make it "like a paragon."
A paragon is supposed to be a 5-5-5 tower. I see the VTSG as a 6-0-0 instead. Its basically just a stronger true sun god.

the design of the paragon is insanely great and fitting. all 3 tiers combined would result in something celestial/astral. the sun (a star), the darkness (the void in the universe) and the anti stuff (antimatter, the stuff that holds galaxies together). i love the design-idea! It could be cleaner tho
Correction: Antimatter isn't what holds galaxies together, that's Dark Matter's job

I think the ‘crit’ abilities might have been bugged because the devs forgot to make that scale with degree
It would be a stronger ability for a degree 1 paragon, but since it doesn’t scale it’s just weaker once you get to higher degrees
That makes sense with the 3rd ability not doing much dmg.
I think that goes for the damage as a whole as well to where the normal attack critting is messing up the damage cause they didn't scale it
Super monkey paragon would be so cool if it could sacrifice OTHER PARAGONS to ehnance it's already matchless power, since the True Sun God had sacrifice mechanics.
Oh, and it'd be also cool if Adora had specific interactions with this.
remember that adora has interactions with the sun, and by extension the sun god, so not necessarily the super monkey paragon
I agree! Super Monkey Paragon should sacrifice other paragons to get a piece of their power. Would be a lot of work to implement, but maybe give it a unique buff for each paragon? For instance, dart paragon giving it bouncing projectiles, boomerang giving it moab knockback, boat giving it fighter planes, engineer giving it turrets...

What would be really cool for the official super monkey paragon is if a VTSG is sacrificed to it it gives more paragon power and a higher degree

The hard part about that is that if you make the VTSG you can't buy the other tier 5s anymore
that wouldn't make sense because the VTSG has the same requirements as a paragon, so it would literally be free and no reason not to go for it, so why would it even be there

Visually 10/10(okay maybe moving pattern would be cool too, but impossible i guess for a mod), but if its paragon gimmic is only 'perma portal' and 'short cd nuke', thats pretty disappointing. From an SM paragon, i'd expect so much more gimmicks.

There's no way the super monkey paragon would cost 3 mil (if it ever existed). The VTSG ALONE is around 2 mil. A better guess is probably in the 5 mil range

I think the Anti-Bloon part of the tower was integrated as the anti-paragon here.
2:57 i sort of imagined the super monkey paragon, when it does come out, in order to incorporate top path features, might sacrifice other paragons for more power, which would definitely make it not be super overpowered in bosses, due to the paragon itself already being super expensive and requiring other paragons to actually be significantly more powerful, sort of like how getting a no sacrifice true sun god is probably the worst way you can spend your money on a defense

I mean, I think you guys forgot the Dark True Sun God is "kinda" the super monkey paragon and "kinda" the real first paragon, it might lack some gimmicks but it basically requires all tier 3s to be summoned plus sacrifices and all those things to become stronger, so I guess it has been a "beta version" paragon all this time, and will probably be updated and changed to be the actual super monkey paragon in a future 🤷♂️

this paragon seems super confusing. neat aesthetic, but i feel like if you make a super paragon it'll always be kinda disappointing because of the hype factor super monkey has.

So basically this paragon is wayyyyyy more powerful than you guys might think, even if it's weaker than a buffed perma-charge with like 20x the price:
- It's cooldown with the Anti-Bloon ability lets it solo until round 200 and even then, the black hole cooldown is basically infinite so you shouldn't have any problems unless there was a bug.
- If it was buffed, I have a feeling it would be a bit better.

It’s possible it takes the damage from other towers in range making them weaker, but strengthening the paragon, which would let it do more damage

my best guess is every third ability is a crit but it is coded badly so it would be doing the amount that a degree 1 crit would do even at degree 100. this goes for the main attack as well meaning it does almost no damage
I like how this is supposed to be not just *a* god in the monkeys’ pantheon (not just the True or Vengeful Sun God or the Hug God of whom Pat is canonically a prophet) but GOD God with capital “G”- and yet it deals less damage than the plane paragon. Heck even the vengeful true sun god deals more damage than this. Sure, an auto-microing ability that instantly deletes entire rushes of DDTs is nice but not as efficient

I have a better idea for the super monkey paragon, it could be like the true sun god but like evil and robotic with dark power and ohhh maybe you'll have to have a minimum requirement, it could be like the VSG from BTD5 I personally think it will be cool, also making it super easy to mess up with few ways to be sure of success would be cool.
Vengeful is actually so similar to a paragraph u need all 3 tier 5 super monkeys and sacrifice 400k in money with towers.

I would’ve imagined a Super Monkey Paragon having an ability like Adora’s Sacrifice
maybe even buffing its degree with a high enough sacrifice (would probably need to sacrifice another paragon)
or even copying the old XX5 wizard’s soulbind
IMO they should massively increase the damage, and give it a knockback effect that works on zomgs and below

I've always thought and considered the Vengeful Sun Temple to be the Supermonkey paragon. You need to sacrifice all three Tier 5s and then a heavy cost.
(It also combines the powers of the three Tier 5s, just like how normal paragons are.)

Temple (True Sun God)
Black... exterior? (Legend of the Night)
NK confirmed it isn’t, and it does not have the other paths. It’s just the top path with a new color pallet, which is not what paragons do

There should be a car guy monkey, different paths would be different car classes (sports, muscle, JDM etc.)
Peirce, speed, damage, even a money making ability. Each path has different car mods that makes it better until it's fully modified. Idk I think it'd be pretty cool lmao

I have so many questions.
1. Should it's power really just be tvsg at its prime with an ability?
2. How would it affect adora?
3. How would a super paragon correlate to tvsg who is already 5-5-5?
4. What kind of challenge would prompt the God of all monkeys to intervene?
Id be paying triple the money for tvsg with an ability and boss bonus damage, I think it would be better to just make a 6th tier at this point like pay 3 mil to upgrade tvsg.
As for the challenge, you have to either make a new super boss that demands the monkey God or make a new boss mode like apocalypse or master mode that's trumps elite. All that said I love the aesthetic for the paragon I just don't think we're ready monkey apotheosis yet.

You should revisit this mod if the damage bug has been fixed. I saw someone say Crits are the bugged thing- doing 25% damage opposed to 125% damage

I was assuming the paragon's damage levels would be dependent on the sacrifices of the TSG. But I guess that'd make the temples a bit complicated to calculate.
That's cool design but they could balance him to do more atack damage and less ability damage, so you are not forced to spam it all the time to do damage, also his portal cooldown should not change based on level, maybe just the duration by a little bit, so it's not absolute impenetrable

If I had to guess the reason why the dart did 0 damage would be that the super paragon syphons the damage of other towers
edit: it may have been ddt's but I still feel like it benefits from the damage of nearby towers

You should do the druid paragon from that pack. In terms of DPS, it's the most disgustingly strong thing I have ever seen. Do enjoy it.

Maybe it was weaker because, just like the temple, part of its power is determined by the temple sacrifices? so if you get a vengeful temple, maybe its base damage will be higher?

i think that the most reasonable super monkey paragon would actually be the vengeful true sun god. this would remove 1 monkey knowledge from the list, and then allow NK to add another monkey knowledge somewhere else (probably support for the beast handler)

vengeful cost 1.3m - 1.8m depending on difficulty so I would expect the paragon to be at least 2m probably nearer to 2.5

Idk now but i Think it might it would be cool if it worked in This Way, it Will get the damage of every tower in its range, so if he Got a 3,0,0 sniper it would do 20 more dmg and Then the sniper would do zero damage or something
