Nope, they couldn't because Jake's brother died before they could download his consciousness. They didn't download the Colonel's consciousness from his dead body. They downloaded it right before the attack to the Navi.

@@donkeykiller5061 There are bugs with the stabilzation feature. Don't ever use that one for now. Make send in a ticket to Topaz, Make sure you let them know what OS version, CPU, and GPU you have

How long if you will make a 2hr movie to 60 fps?
If i had to make a very very rough estimate. It would prob take a 2hr movie about 1-3 week to interpolate 4K, 24 frames to 60fps. That's why all the 60fps "HFR" downloads are 720p and prob compressed after render with a software such as handbreak.
That being say; all though i love the 60fps compressed 720p isn't for me, personally

What mode in topaz video did you use? Artemis or Proteus? If you help me I would be very grateful
Always, Proteus. I believe it is the best upscaler for new HD videos. For slightly older videos Artemis, might be the best just for denoise and a bit sharpening. Proteus seems to truly create AI pixels making it look far more better quality thing it was originally uploaded.

Of course an 8K video file is gonna be huge. This Avatar video was like 120gb alone.
MP4 is not lossless and neither is video compression. In these 8K60FPS videos of mine, I'm going for maximum quality

i dont think a lot of people quite understand how technology works. this isnt 8k. the highest resolution of this trailer only got uploaded in 4k there is no 8k version of this trailer. this is just reuploaded and upscaled to 8k .
First off.. this highest resolution this trailer was uploaded in was 1080p, not 4K... and as i clearly stated in the description; I used Topaz Video AI to upscale the video with AI. AI that generates REAL frames to upscale the video. Therfore this is true 8K quailty.

For a lot of people, it looks far worse actually. Peoples brain are so use to comprehending 24fps for TV movies/series they think 60fps looks unnatural. I guess in some ways it does seem more fluid than natural. considering our eye sight does not work in frame rates.
avatar runs in 48 fps and sometimes in 24. it depends on the scene
60fps will not be "cinematic" it will looks like TV series. Films which were fully shot in 60fps was not appreciated by audience and eventually it become flop.

In the theaters this movie was not HFR (48fps) it was a shitty 24/48 hybrid that had no consistency between the framerates. Cameron did a really shitty job with this decision.
The movie was good though, so I'd advice people to see the standard framerate version, for a consistent viewing.
Where did you go to see a 48fps version of this movie because I highly doubt they ever even rendered this movie in any other frame rate than 24fps

they should have uploaded this in there highest resolution and framerate them self. This version looks quite strange at times, even tough the higher frame rate and higher resolution still looks better in my opinion. Such a wasted opportunity to show Avatar 2 how it relay looks
They recorded most of the scenes at 24fps. A lot of the underwater scene was 48fps. But they rendered the final in 24fps like every other movie. So there no way they even could have uploaded it in 60fps, when it was rendered at 24fps.. my version is 60 interpolation frames a second. That's why it was possible for me to do
@@herpocet I know but they could have just uploaded their 48fps version in 4k or 8k (not sure if the movie is 8k+ but I would guess so). Instead they upload 1080p 24fps versions so the upscaled and interpolated version looks better then theirs

I just assumed the entire movie was rendered at 24fps, like every other movies. A lot of people online are complaining about the sudden FPS switches during the movie..

The movie might have been recorded with 8k cameras, but no movie gets rendered at 8K. 3hr 8K video would be 1000s of Gbs. Most movies get rendered at 2k (Even if you bought a "4K" Bluray disk). The movies you watch on your 4K TV are upscaled/streched to 4K.
"Even as much live-action footage is shot at 4K or higher, plenty of movie CGI is still rendered at 2K - which, somewhat confusingly, can be not just half as sharp as 4K but a quarter. Since a 2K effect in a 4K shot sticks out like a blurry thumb, most movies with lots of digital imagery resort to a work-around. -Jul 20, 2022"

Pointless upscaling it.. you wasting your money. The original was uploaded in 1080p.. just accept it

3. no. Regardless of it being uploaded in 1080p, I interpolated frames to make it 60FPS. So if you're not here for the 8K and you still enjoy the smoother framerate. Click the 1080p if that's what you prefer.
