Ai is such a gentle soul and the relationship between Nene and Ai is so sweet, the way Nene gently touches Ai brings a smile to my face. Definately my favorites.
I love the connection between Ai and Nene. She truly loves her little girl. She always gives Ai subtle touches and looks at her with positive eyes. I know she can go a bit crazy on Ai at times (I'm guessing because of dominance or something similar?), but Nene is really a phenomenal mother. Thank you for sharing such a wonderful moment between mom & daughter.❤❤❤

Ai is my fav. She shows Nene much respect(5:18) and loves playing with Annie. She tries to keep the peace. She's a special gorilla. I just wish she'd give into Shabani once in a while.
I feel exactly the same . Shabanis trying to seduce her with his moves but AI takes it with fear and not seduction . Maybe because how he use to be rough with nene all the time in the old enclosure? Even tho we know it was because how she was with Annie but AI maybe didn’t understand how we do ? Idk. I wish he would try a more subtle approach with play but i don’t think he has it in him . He doesn’t know how . Poor baby

Anyone ever notice how silky black AI always looks even in her rear area??. All the rest have spots and gray and by their butts they still have a little white patches from when they were babies but AI is a solid beautiful black. Gorgeous.
