India has the well known Goddess Ganesha. In Thailand Thai Buddhists adore Elephants, they symbolizes luck, majesty, strength, diligence and intelligence. Elephants are also held in high regard in other Buddhist countries, but nowhere as pronounced as in Thailand. In Burma the working Elephants are still in charge, - very sad - but more rescued Elephants are living in very nice camps, it was until 2020.....
