I don't know if the real miracle is the earthquake, but rather everybody staying. If I was the jalor, I would have been mad that this God had caused me such pain. But instead of everyone leaving, they stayed. And not only that, but to have somone, who is basicly my enemy, save my life... this would speak volumes of what kind of God Paul and Silas were following.
The thing is though, Destin's bible verses are always apt for the episode. Maybe Matt should have put in V_s=sqrt(μ/ρ) or something (the velocity of an earthquake s-wave).
The most curios thing i find here is that the other prisoners also stayed put. The jailer was responsible over all who were jailed, I would guess, no? So if any would escape, bye bye life, risky position for the jailer... it had to be a very-well-paid job i hope... so what can we make of this? were all prisoners charmed? saved? frozen? dead from the quake? (hope not) Keep it up!

Enjoyed it as always, but I was really hoping for some sort of a comment/joke about the jailer being worried about Paul leaving the prison, and then he takes him out of the prison himself. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like this is something he would be killed for too, no?
So ultimately E.B. Farnum is Urbino and the Unstoppable Juggernaut is Florentino? The problem with the podcast is missing out on the visual gems. I'm conflicted.
Oh and one other thing...I wish all these know-it-all theologians would just button up about all the do's and dont's of baptism - full immersion vs sprinkling, infant baptism vs adult baptism etc. If a man - like Lydia or this jailer, wants to dedicate his whole household to our Lord Jesus Christ that's HIS BUSINESS and not yours!
