Republic Services: Mack LR Heil Odyssey Curotto Can Garbage Truck

- To start off 2022 we have Republic’s LR Curotto Can collecting trash in Shavano Park. The Tuesday after Christmas, I went to film this truck collecting on the Tuesday/Friday route. I ended up following the recycle truck so I only got a couple clips of this truck that morning. I went back on Thursday morning and filmed him in his last neighborhood on the Monday/Thursday route. According to the driver, this is Republic’s only Curotto can and it services Shavano Park on Monday/Thursday and Tuesday/Friday as they have twice a week trash. The driver’s routes are also pretty easy as it usually only takes him half a day to complete. I filmed this truck a year ago along with one of Republic’s old MRU Pythons but I’m glad to have finally gotten a full video of this truck. You can also see a few different types of carts get collected too. This combo is not very common around here so I hope y’all enjoy seeing it in action!

This sure screams IL! Very cool you were able to catch their Curotto, this driver made it really fun to watch! It was also cool to see Republic’s Toters too, in my opinion they look pretty sweet. I’m surprised the logo on the curb side isn’t bigger given that there’s no ladder, but without a doubt this rig looks pretty sweet! Great video!
Had a feeling you’d like this one haha, I was pretty glad to catch their Curotto and the driver definitely knows how to run it. I agree, the toters do look pretty cool. It was strange to me that the logo was smaller on that side, especially since the logo is bigger on the other side. Glad you enjoyed!

Nice job Andrew! This combo is easily one of my all time favorites, and lucky enough for republic by you to have one. I really thought they had a few more, tho this looks like a great route for a curotto. Love the different carts shavano park has. Do you know how long republics been there for?
Thanks Jay! Definitely one of the cooler looking combos in my opinion. I was a little surprised that this is their only one too. This route used to be collected by Allied Waste, but I am not sure if they ever had BFI, so Republic/AW has done this contract for at least 10-15 years, probably more.
