you shouldn’t play them at max volume, the transient of the bass wave will mess with the harmonics if it doesnt have enough power to stop it all quickly
yeah and then it goes through the photosynthesis and comes out of the accoutrements, but before it does that it has to do acumen or else it will stop working.
I've had one of these for a couple of weeks now and I highly recommend it. The overall quality is fantastic and it sounds awesome. It's totally worth the investment.

My boombox just arrived last weekend and i am in love with this thing, the bass is super deep with no distortion what so Ever and the sound is super clean and some say its "too" treble heavy. If ur looking for a great portable speaker, go for this beast.

Just a few tricks for the Boombox; 1. Just like many JBL speakers, the JBL Boombox also has the low frequency mode. If you don't know what that is, it basically increases the bass ALOT. Just hold down the bluetooth and volume down button for about 7-10 seconds. If the low frequency mode is activated you'll see feedback from the JBL Connect+ light, and the power button. 2. The JBL Boombox has an output of about 50 watts. When you charge your Boombox and turn it on, the speaker has a 10 watts higher output. (60 watts in total) Read this if you like, just thought I should spread the word.

The "original" boombox has become something of a relic lately. I have been wanting to get my hands on one for at least the last 6 weeks, and they are extremely hard to come-by for anything under $550, let alone $400. Ebay has a few, but all the owners that are selling them, want an outrageous amount for units that looked like they've been through hell and back. My guess is, the boombox 2 isn't selling very well ( and I don't blame the folks who are already invested in connect + vs the newer "party boost" ). I have to many JBL speakers to upgrade, so I want to stay in the connect+ ecosystem, but wow, is the Boombox 1 hard to get! The extreme 2 is still going strong on sales, so why are the original boombox's do hard to purchase? Heck, it wasn't 4 months back that the original boombox was on sale for something like $300, and now you cant find it anywhere for under $500 ( if you can find one brand new ( not refurbished ). I hope this is just part of the supply chain issue and they will be back in stock sometime thru December.

Already had the jbl extreme. Played it until the speakers went out. Just got the bb for xmas. It's sound and bass is absolutely insane in the membrane. By far, best bt speaker I've ever owned. Wish i could compare them just to see how superior the bb is but really no need. Def worth every cent!!
