Voters who wring their hands and vote for corporate Democrats are why we are in this situation. Until we insist on politicians who actually stand with working people we will continue our decline towards peasantry.

Young people jump from job to job. Why ? It's because companies don't care about you . I tell my children to do what is best for you. Be frugal and save your money for emergencies. My grandfather and father worked for the B O railroad. It was considered a lifetime time career with a good pension. Those days are long gone.

Unions have their good points and their bad points. Just like everything else, I really hope President Biden gets to stay for another 4 years. If companies took the time and took care of their employees, especially the good ones instead in letting them fall through the cracks, you wouldn't hear anything about unions but. The companies are just worried about their bottom line. They don't care about the people that work for them.

President Reagan began busting unions, and the republicans continued the trend. Republicans supported big business when they moved union jobs off-shore. Don’t blame the unions for their fall from Grace. Thank God Biden is reversing that trend.

I remember the unions that almost destroyed the American auto industry that left Detroit in ruins .

I think you are getting mixed up. The people who ruined the auto industry were the greedy profit-taking owners and globalization.
