You guys should react to tv series Merlí (and Merlí Sapere Aude). Merli is catalan (spanish) tv series about a high school professor and his class. There are gay characters. Merli Sapere Aude is a spin off set in University. Again there are gay characters and stories, straight characters too. One actor from Smiley plays in all three series.
I agree with Alex: booking a trip and planning it should be a group decision, not something you surprise me with. You can surprise me with the intention, but not "we leave in the morning".
there is also a pretty interesting movie that features some of the same cast: "the more the merrier" (donde caben dos). it explores the dynamic in non monogamic relationships
A great sequel would have Bruno and Alex literally bringing up baby - either an adopted child or a surrogate (are you busy, Vero?) The trials and tribulations of gay parenting could be a very productive storyline.
