im pretty sure oddworld has like, anit-osha, you have a minimum number of pointless safety hazards you have to include on your works sight just because fuck the workers am i right
I haven't. I have to say the creepy alien aesthetic of Oddworld was one of the major draws for me as a kid. And it's something I still seek out in games today.
Oh I remember playing this when I was really little! I think one of my earliest enemies is my dad spamming the fart button to make me laugh whilst I was watching him play :D
Ah, Primal, I remember that game fondly. It had a few frustrating bits, mainly the run to the water level that was jank as hell for some reason and a couple of obtuse puzzles. But overall I enjoyed completing it back in the day. Bought it again recently to replay it.
1:48:51 you're just doing it wrong. You can just sprint off the ledge and you'll get straight on the next one no prob. And then immediately on the next bit, you can roll from a running start.
I never played Tak and the Power of Juju but I did play the sequel, Staff of Dreams. I also didn't have a memory card at the time so every playthrough was a sprint to get through as much as possible before my older brother turned off my Gamecube.
Stranger's Wrath is/was great. Only time I've seen a 1st AND 3rd person game, and they pulled it off fantastically. I seem to remember struggling at it, but I haven't played it since I was 12, when I wasn't too skilled in english.
This might be a bit late, considering, however. Primal is, annoying and clunky, but! The combat is quite solid and intuitive... once you get used to it, for the most part. The characters make up for it imho, the overall story is rather interesting, but the four separate worlds and abilites you gain from them make it worth it. I love the third world, some of the conversations are hillarious the first time you encounter them. Cant remember off the top of my head, but I believe the cheat Demonise basically makes you invulnerable while not skipping any of the levels. And, i bought it for the PS4 a year or so ago, its on the PSN somewhere maybe. Not much help for PC, but anyone willing to try out classic PS2 games should give it a shot.
1st: Jello, don't hurt yourself. Love your hands. 2nd: try playing Soul Storm on the channel one day. I believe the glitches have been patched, but I can be wrong. 👽🐦
Back when jello was working on epithet erased he worked to hard and too long, it ruined is hands so he couldn't work but he wanted to do something so he had other people play games for him
he broke them while working on Epithet Erased because they were not given much time to make the show. if you want more details, daftpina made a video about the production of Epithet Erased.
The greats of the cinematic platformer genre, still getting the laughs they wanted after all these decades.
I was very into this game as a child, especially considering I was at the age where I wasn’t keen enough to play through it entirely.

This was my favorite game series growing up. I had to sneak into my brother's room when he was out with friends to play it.
Have you ever heard of Blackthorne? It's an old blizzard game with similar gameplay, but with the gross humour replaced with guns and 90s edginess.

because of the Brilliant sound designed, someone completed it BLIND, like an actual blind guy
Oddworld!!!!! I love this game so much! a favorite series of mine!
My dad and I spent many nights, and sick days, playing this, we beat it a dozen times, and we still laugh about it today
Also I quote the game speak very often

YO ODDWORLD -IS- UNDERRATED
especially in terms of its worldbuilding and stylistic choice, but alas a lot of the actual game play was.... alright
This game looks cool! Wish it didn’t have bugs!

@@JelloApocalypse It's a timeless game tho I'm sure he'll play it again one day.

You should play Soulstorm, it's a total reimagining of this game that I heard was pretty good!
Ham ham heartbreak let's goooooo
To answer your question Jello: Me. This game was made for my weird commie ass.

I’d only played Munich’s Oddesey, it’s a neat setting
Loved these games. Still struggling to get through Soulstorm tbh.
Oh this one
What's the story with the broken hands?
