Very clear explanation. Thank you. Now there is an issue. If a student is failed but gets higher total than a passed student then he may be marked as "No Rank" but the rank is skipped. Kindly provide a solution. Pls refer below the scenario.

I used this formula. In my sample the 2nd highest total is fail and hence I don't see 2nd rank. Excel is showing rank as 1,3,4 and 5 and not showing 2nd rank as that was fail. Please suggest how to bring the rank in order
