I have installed terraform on my laptop(windows 10 pro) but i didn't find those .tf files and also when i try to run "init" command i'm getting error, can you please help me.
You dont find them, you need to write them. what error are you getting when you run init?

configuration files main.tf etc..... ? C:\Users\Terraform>terraform init
Terraform initialized in an empty directory!
The directory has no Terraform configuration files. You may begin working
with Terraform immediately by creating Terraform configuration files.

It's a command line thing Sunil. Provider gets downloaded when we run terraform init. Hope this helps.

Terraform is a very easy technology, it takes hardly 15 days to learn. You can easily switch from windows to terraform. However it is not only terraform you need, you also need to learn docker, kubernetes, and devops tools.

Hi bro, I have an react webapp including backend in the samedirectory where it was managing my cloudformation now i wanted to create a new instance for that, can i achive that with terraform like cloning and create a new instace with all there that with terraform like cloning and create a new instace with all the resources it has, the cloudformations has the keys and permission

While we run Terraform init command it is throwing an error to have config files, where are these 3 config files are brought out into your azure folder (directory)?

Both are good, but arm templates will be always ahead of Terraform because they are also from Microsoft.

Hi Charan, thanks for sharing the knowledge. I have a query, Is it must to have Azure cli installed on the pc to run terraform with Azure.? Or we are good to proceed using windows command prompt
