    Great video Peter thank you. I have been using Wealthify for about two years and very pleased with the growth performance. I was new to investing and got burnt in the past picking my some of my own stocks. Plus to be honest I am not interested in spending time doing the research and following/regularly monitoring the market I would rather spend time on hobbies etc Plus got sick of getting ridiculous rates of interest from my savings. Went with Wealthify as they are backed by Aviva and that gave me more confidence picking a robo rmanaged investment company.

      Hi. Amazing review and very informative! Thank you for sharing this! I just watched your nutmeg review as well and would like to know YOUR opinion on which is better between Nutmeg and Wealthify with regards to when Investing? Which app do you think has the better investing expertise? This would make feel safer when investing over the long haul, as I already know investing comes with its risk, which I am fully aware of. Also, with an ISA, can I open a stocks and shares ISA with an app in year one, and then open another stocks and shares ISA with a different app in year 2? And do you know of any investing apps that can do index funding as well or is that just limited to investing platforms on websites? Thank you very much!

    Great videos Pete. It's actually given me an interest in taking a hard look at where and how I am using my money as you put it in a format that's easy to understand.
    One question though, if I've converted a Help to buy into a lifetime ISA in this current tax year, but the original H2B account was opened in the last tax year. Can I opened a stocks and shares ISA now, does it break regulations?

    • @conversationofmoney
      @conversationofmoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @conversationofmoney
      @conversationofmoney  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Vaughn, with the markets being down due to the coronavirus you could use Wealthify to get invested using an ISA. That will give some exposure to the market. The risk profiles really depend on your personal view of risk. They do provide some guide when you go through the steps. Does that make sense?

    Surely even at the lowest risk investment choice at the moment you will be making a loss for the foreseeable, one would expect to not make a return for a few years at least which would suggest now is not the time to even consider risking the capital until the markets return to some normality

    • @conversationofmoney

    Hi... If I haven't bought a house yet and if my general investment account has "property" as part of the investments, does this mean I will lose first time buyer benefits in the UK (things like no stamp duty, and things like bonuses from a cash help to buy or a lifetime ISA)?

    Clear and concise video! Thank you! :) 2 quick questions: Is it just me or is the link to the Wealthify guide not working? :(
    The second question I have which I've not been able to find much clarity on (some sources say yes, others say no!) Is it possible for me to hold a Help to Buy ISA and to open up an Investment ISA at all? Currently I've been paying into my Help to Buy ISA for a few years, and if I'm correct in thinking, the moment the new tax year rolls around and I pay my monthly £200 into that ISA, that then carries on being my ISA for the new tax year. For the longest time I've thought we're only allowed one ISA per year, so if I'm paying into my Help to Buy, does this mean I'm not allowed to open up an Investment ISA since I've got a different one open instead?
    Many thanks! :)

    This is going to sound pretty dumb, but when you invest, can you lose more than you put in, or can you only lose as much as you've put in + any gains to the investment?

      As long as you're not trading, you can only lose what you put in.

    What do you think is better for a beginner investor nutmeg or whealthify?

    • @conversationofmoney
      @conversationofmoney  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are both good. Both present information really well, I think nutmeg has a better feel way of presenting important information. Wealthify have a massive company behind them as a backer and I wrote a 19 page guide to opening an account with them (free on my website).

    • @conversationofmoney
      @conversationofmoney  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The app you should use depends on you and what your preference is. Do you want it to be app based, computer based, low cost free, low risk, medium risk? This isn't picking a tin of baked beans off a shopping aisle shelf. Provider selection is very important
