A shame that nothing really happened with Omega as a lore type of character ever since maybe around the first debuts of Holostars English where they were a sort of link to all of HoloEN. They had a cool design and concept. They had this one cool looking arm from what I remember. Plus I thought it was cool that they could be considered any gender and none of them at the same time.
I know some people didn't care much for the management aspect of them, but i do hope the character could still be used purely for lore stuff if they ever decide to, they don't need to be a VTuber just an exclusively story person.

Could've been an EN equivalent to A-chan. But alas, they died due to overdosing on their own farts.

The big difference is that A-chan started out from real humble beginnings, and grew naturally. They needed someone to host shows, so they grabbed Sora's friend and quickly threw together a deliberately simple avatar for her to use. Then, as time went on, fans decided that A-chan was cool and likable, so they asked for more of her, and her (public-facing) role grew over time.
With Omaga it was the exact opposite. Some management douche decided that he needed to be the main event over the girls, so he hijacked the debut of Council to force the girls to promote his cringy self-insert fanfic character. At least somebody with some common sense managed to pull the plug on it before he started putting himself on streams.
@@jmsytbeYeh, people like A-chan or Shinove were well received because the talents talking naturally about them they were not forced. A chan was this staff girl who was friends with Sora and they play games from time to times. Shinove was Stars manager and the members mentioned him with again him play with the talents on stream from time to time.
And Even more recent example after Omega got canned. Nodoka was already working for hololive it just took A-chan to convince her to do streams with her. Tempus Gorimane happen because Flayon joined VC with the HQ boys before tempus VG was even announced so Magni cover him up saying he was a manager and Gorimane just roll with it to the point of her dressing as a gorilla on the past year Holoexpo (she also got ascended to be the director of Stars EN around the time Omega got deleted). Omega was just a cringey self insert
@@elektra8535 Yeah that's another part of it, the girls never spoke of Omaga in any sort of positive way, usually when asked they'd basically scoff, or laught it off with a sarcastic one-liner. Even Gura of all people took shots at him a number of times, and that takes some doing. Whenever people asked Kiara about it you could almost hear her roll her eyes, and she spends hours talking positively about her own manager and other behind-the-scenes people.

So this omega has the same fate as megaman's omega, who are supposed to be some sort of leader-ish pioneer but ended up misusing the power they got, thus became a ghost of the past, interesting coincidence..

He fucked over IRyS since he was in charge of project hope, forced her to sing for far too long when recording and making songs that pushed the boundaries of what her voice was capable of. So yeah I would say that he was bad
From what the mems in Myth and Council/Promise have alluded to, they were a *really* incompetent manager who had really ambitious, and unrealistic, plans for Holomyth. From what we can gather, OmegaA was some sort of elaborate plan to install themselves as "En's A-Chan", which evidently never got anywhere because:
1) A-Chan picked up English as a second (?) language, and was still able to act as MC for any EN events if needed.
2) A-Chan wasn't beloved by the community because she specifically installed herself as the face of Holo, but because she's sincere and sweet person who's been with Hololive the longest. (07)
Sometime after Promise's debut, when they all established themselves properly, they seemed to have quietly resigned from Cover and gone separate ways.

Omega was one of the coolest concepts, and they did nothing with it. Since we never heard a voice, the staff / talent could have easily been replaced without issue.

That Omega would not be able to visit the HQ neither of the studio as if the talents are being rude and disrespect to them, it's those people fault,not omega themselves..
Again,if they (the talents) are giving omega some more encourages,they will be there someday (the HQ and the studio) please give more support and no more hates to omega, otherwise it would not be happen to have omega to do the comeback especially for the debut

To be honest, I find this a little too soon and unprofessional. It comes across as that Omega got fired, but we don't know what happened. Attacking former employees is unprofessional even if Omega committed a crime. It's actually illegal in some states in the US. In Japan it would trigger a defamation lawsuit
