I'm not sure why he won't go into steady aim after using ready aim in his midrange strings. is it realy better to only use ready aim after mid strings?
That Sol player is damn good, not to undermining the Chaos one but the constant zoning just feel too cheap even if a viable tactic, least it proped up Sol win even more when he managed to score a hit.
The execution and dexterity required to the zone the way he is and reset resources is incredible taxing. He's arguably the hardest character in the game and I say that as a Zato player.
@@wilsh1630 I'm sorry but if you think that's easy you don't know what you are talking about. Every person who's high level has said its executionally hard as hell to use the negative edge reload tricks. Yes zato is hard and there is a lot of mental. Again I play him but it's no where near as difficult dexterity wise.
I think you are forgetting something: there is no way in all the multiverse that happy chaos could win a close fight against a Sol, if he gets close, hes basically dead
@user-sm8jk4mx5o HC has some of the best normals in the game, he can run sols shit in close but now sol has a sliver of hope to fight back In lore Sol gets fucked cuz HC is the closest thing we have to God with a capital G in guilty gear
@@argonianguy6226 yeah, sol got his fair share of nerfs, he's still a pretty strong character. Also this HC play style is pretty cancerous lmao idk what the original commenter is on about
Sol has been mostly nerfed since launch with some nice buffs. All his obnoxious stuff was nerfed, hes not nearly as strong as he used to be. Nago has gotten almost nothing but buffs
@@Penngweni it's not cancerous at all. It's a functioning zoner arctype in a generation of fighting game players that are used to just running at the other player like apes in every game they touch. Get zoned.

I love any game with HC in it. You can tell exactly what's happening without even watching. If you don't hear steady aim then you know HC is getting his ass kicked 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don't understand how this kind of gameplay is fun for chaos. I get that it's optimal, but it is not hype. I wanna see combos, not 80% chip damage. Yes he does have some combos, but the core of his gameplay is just making sure the other person can't press buttons.
@MF BANDIT Yes, but doing the same exact thing over and over ain't hype. I'm commenting on the gameplay not the archetype. I have no issue with zoners, I have issues with spammers. Totsugeki.
@@Eisray If that is your bar then no other character passes it. At its highest level the game is about optimized patterns, no good player will drop the optimal combo/setup simply for the sake of variety
@Ιωάννης Γιαννούλας Κοκκώνης I get that. I just feel like Chaos' optimal isn't very fun to watch. He is probably the only character that feels like he hardly has to make any risky decisions because he's so focused on keeping the other person locked down.
@@Eisray For some people, I think it's fun while I also do. Not letting your opponent play or get a chance is very fun to me. I want my opponent to suffer very much xD

Right??? HC players don't have a life, just spamming you from across the screen and not caring if you block, they keep reloading and dealing chip damage LIKE THEY LITERALLY DONT GET BORED
I'm pretty sure that's just how a Zoner is played. It requires a lot of patience and effort to keep the opponent at bay and remain in control consistently. Yes it's a mountain climb for most other archetypes, but here you can see the moments where the HC player makes a mistake and leaves an opening for Sol he loses very quickly. Ive played guilty gear for a lot of time, recently i havent been playing that much, i lost the track after accent core plus... Now i see this and think... when did this game turn into a cheaper blazblue? back then zoning characters had to have skill, like Zato and Dizzy... this is... really easy and cheap to play... its dumb...
You’re joking right? You’re telling me you think HC is dumber than Justice? than Testament?? and also if you’ve never played Strive you wouldn’t know that HC is hard to play. Juggling bullets, focus, and meter resources while also having a high execution requirement makes his skill floor very high.
@@azoriusspiralist4918 it is the definition of high risk. If you give one inch to a rushdown character they will cut through your tiny HP in 5 seconds.
Now this is a really interesting matchup ! One mistake from any of them leads to quite literally a round loss ! Beautiful
Is there a high level matchup where that isn’t true?
@@ahoy4301 well it's one of Leo's main strength to not lose from one mistake. Same could be said with Nago if he has meter.
Sol has to do more errors than HC imho, but the latter has easier convertions, cause... You know... Gun.
Nonetheless a beautiful matchup
