- During my recent trip to Gopeng, a charming town near Gua Tempurung in Malaysia, I had an unforgettable experience exploring the mystical depths of the Gua Tempurung cave. Today, I'll take you on a thrilling journey through this natural wonder. Let's dive in!
We were excited to see the tour options displayed on a prominent signboard at the main entrance. We chose Tour 3, which included an underground river trip.
Filled with anticipation and trepidation, we bravely ventured into the mysterious depths of Gua Tempurung.
We explored the magnificent caves with live stalactites and stalagmites, crawled through tunnels, slid down a cliff, and witnessed an underground river with live fish. Watch the video at the end of this article to experience it all!

I remember visiting Gua Tempurung 20 years ago, and even the largest cave chamber in Gua Tempurung experienced a power outage for dozens of seconds, and all the tourists were in a row.🤣
How did you protect your phone during the wet area?
Water level was below knee so it was not an issue.
For wet activity at what time we need to be present??
There is no specific time. Just arranged with the tour guide.
How do we arrange w the tour guide? May I hv the contact? TQ
We stayed at Adeline Villa and they arranged for us.
Do we really have to go through that hole to continue the exploring?
If you are referring to tour 3, there is an alternative way to continue without going through the hole. Our guide did that for us.
