I recently found your channel and I LOVE it! I just happened to be going back through Matthew too when I discovered this. Wow the timing! This is really opening my eyes to a truly fresh way of reading and understanding which I always ask God to help me to see and understand what it is that I need and He never fails to deliver! Thank you so much, Kaela!
You have changed my life in 4 short days. Thank you for everything you have done in my life and all those who watch this. May God continue to bless us all. Amen.
Wow! Praise God! 🙌🏼 Thank you so much for this incredible encouragement too. Well, let's keep going!!! I seriously am so honored you're here, and I'm here for you. Please stay in touch in these comments as you continue on ☺️
Amazing! There's so much to truly think about in our own lives once we get consistent and invested a little into their lives, right?! ☺️ Well, let's keep going ❤️
Thank you for sharing the word and helping us all understand it better. For me it's not that I doubt God's healing power. I doubt my worth to be healed by the Almighty.
I love that... Jesus said follow me AFTER he'd bless them with boat loads of fish(they're livelihood)! They fished all night n caught nothing... And the men left the gift n followed the gifter! ❤❤❤
He healed them all, but he doesn't always heal. That doesn't mean it's punishment. We sometimes grow most through our trials and tribulations. Thank you for this study! I think I will get better at being curious while reading through the bible.
Everyone that came to Jesus, HE heal them all…since HIS Name is Jehovah Raffa, therefore He always heals…..He does not need to teach a lesson through sickness. God is not schizophrenic and it is not Scriptural.
I am so glad you're here! Put on that curiosity hat 🕵🏼♀😉. In this Scripture, we read that "...he healed them all." (Matthew 4:24). Our foresight gives us clues that not everyone was healed, and you're right, sickness was NOT punishment. I believe the importance is that we fully know and fully believe that He is ABLE to heal all. ❤
Thank you so much for doing these videos on Matthew. As I read through my Bible study I now have curiosity. It has opened up a new way of studying. Thank you! You are so inspiring. God has truly blessed you with your teaching!!!
I was hit from behind in a car accident and received a neck injury. It felt like a brick was stuck inside the left side of my neck and it was very painful to turn my head. I had been healed of things at different times in my life and I knew God was capable of healing this neck pain. I kept contending for my healing. Five years later, I was in a Christian business luncheon and the speaker said, “there is someone here that was in an accident and has been suffering with neck pain, the Lord is healing your neck”. I don’t even remember if I raised my hand or not, but that day I believe Jesus saw my faith and for the rest of the week I was in awe that the pain was released out of my neck. Today I am pain free! Thank you Jesus, Glory to God! Contend for your healing, don’t settle for pain and sickness. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever. Hebrew 13:8
I am so excited to have found you, Kaela! I love how you speak to me as a WHOLE person, my spirit, mind, will emotions, and also the stewardship of our body, my temple. I believe that my "temple stewardship" is a vital part of my wirship to God.
Just found you this week and am loving your style and approach to the Bible study. You are right, starting a new daily habit is what is needed. I was doing a short devoted each morning but wanted to do more actual study and reading. Thank you, this is great!
I'm studying with the NIV version. Ch 4:18-20 my notes say that Peter and Andrew Already knew Jesus. That Jesus had previously talked with them(John 1:35-42) When Jesus called them they knew what kind of man he was and were willing to follow him
Immediately- maybe it’s me, but he is the word, I think if the lord says follow me, the power of his words would make anyone follow him, now I say this but at times we know what we should do and don’t so maybe it was his time, his appearance, his aroma, his love - I say this and wonder if I was there would I have followed him with no questions ask, I have so many questions that he would get tired so I will trust him even though I don’t understand but it’s not always easy!
Good morning. The workbook is not free to download. However you do not HAVE TO have it. Each video for every chapter will give you incredible insight and understanding into the Bible and help you get consistent and curious. The workbook gives you some additional resources and specific journaling questions to help you to apply the Bible more personally to your life. Here's the link if you would like more details: stan.store/kaelaprays/p/matthew
I have a question… you notice how the enemy tries to tempt Jesus 3 times, is that suppose to be like a mocking of the Holy Trinity? For example when people come in physical contact with a demon, and marking appear on the walls or on someone’s body it’s always in pairs of 3. As like a mocking of the Holy Trinity triangle.
Ahhhhhh those are such great curiosity questions too. I find when I can be curious and try to truly imagine these REAL PEOPLE and what they were thinking and going through, that helps me stay consistent, to hear the Lord, to keep on growing ☺️
I wonder if the men leaving the boat and their dad is meant to show us that sometimes following Jesus means that we have to leave behind not only things like our jobs or hobbies, but people we love, and we just have to trust that its the right thing to do.
I researched this because I was curious as well! The temptation of Jesus occurs in Matthew 4, and it doesn't directly aim to mock the Holy Trinity. Instead, the three temptations serve a deeper purpose: Test of Identity: Each temptation challenges Jesus' identity as the Son of God. The devil repeatedly uses the phrase "If you are the Son of God," trying to sow doubt about Jesus’ divine status and mission. Fulfillment of Humanity: The temptations reflect the human experience of struggle and temptation. By facing these trials, Jesus demonstrates His solidarity with humanity and His ability to resist sin, fulfilling His role as the perfect Savior. Rejection of Power and Control: Each temptation involves a lure of power, fame, or immediate gratification. Jesus’ refusal to give in highlights His commitment to God's will over worldly temptations, setting a model for His followers. The narrative emphasizes Jesus’ divine authority and righteousness rather than any mockery of the Trinity. It establishes His mission and prepares Him for public ministry.
SUCH A GREAT QUESTION! You can totally type some in to that search bar. I just released a new video like 2 days ago to help with this. I love that you're asking questions too!!! Check out this video and let me know how else I can serve and help you too ☺️ th-cam.com/video/9fAsEi9V9m8/w-d-xo.htmlsi=7XUxXCVm9CzbOR-S
was it good for me to watch the series "The Chosen" cause im confused now😢, didnt Andrew and Simon cast they nets into the sea to catch plenty of fish after Jesus told them to cast they nets. since they couldnt get not one fish the whole night? He then told them they would fish men. afterwards they followed Him??😅im so confused now
This is actually great to think through. The Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) each tell of the life of Jesus here on earth. And just like with all people, we each focus on different details of the same story. For example, if you asked me about a basketball game I may say, "We won the game and we outscored them by 10 with 15 more rebounds than them even though we had less players". One of my teammates who was also there at the same game may simply say, "We won." Matthew's account in. Matthew 4:18-22 can be read from Luke's view in Luke 5:1-11 (which is often the account that is told and taught - probably because it gives a little more detail to the situation). You're doing great!
@@hiswordmywalk thank you so much ma’am. i looked it up and saw it was a bit more detailed 😁. but does that mean that Matthew just summarized that “details”? cause i saw it says in the bible. Matthew 4:18 “as Jesus was walking besides the sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers…” but in Luke 5:1-2 “One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God. 2 He saw at the water’s edge two boats, left there by the fishermen, who were washing their nets.” so maybe Matthew just left that part out ? 🥲 but yeah im still learning. thank you so much. i appreciate it ma’am✨❤️
but also didn’t Matthew follow Simon to record his every movement after Simon made a deal with the romans and while watching Simon them all night tryna catch fish…. later on Matthew saw the miracle Jesus did with the fish. couldn’t Matthew write what he saw ?? at his view? and not Luke’s? sorry i also saw that in one episode of “the chosen” 😅 im just really tryna be sure of things. sorry
i learnt now that Matthew and Luke used the gospel of Mark 😅 and i also learnt that Mark was first written followed by Matthew and Luke.. that’s why they stories are the same most of the time😅. just tryna help those who was confused as i was.
I am curious about how Jesus was allowed to teach in the synagogue when the Jewish leaders didn’t agree with him? Was it the Holy Spirit in Jesus that they just knew not to stop him at that time?
I love this question. A tool you can use to look into this is a "Bible commentary". A free online one that I use often is Enduring Word. Here's a tip 😉 type into your search bar "Matthew 4 commentary" and then... 🕵🏼♀
Blessings 🙏 as Luke 4:6 states it was delivered to Satan ( the kingdoms of the earth) he is the God of this world, Jesus never rebuked Satan in saying it wasn't his to give, that's why many follow Satan seeking after the worldly things, fame prestige riches etc many who worship the devil he gives to them but it's temporary not true happiness

Jesus healed so many people, yet people still followed him wanting to see more. How much do we need to see for us to believe he is the Messiah
