Welcome to Provence for the Jacquemus "Le coup de Soleil" fashion show. In the middle of lavender fields! Yes, this is the second video about this show on my channel! Why? Because we can!
The first video was about breaking every silhouette of the show, this video is without commentary, and a more impressionistic point of view. We follow Simon Porte Jacquemus, from the rehearsals to the after party.
And, this is the summer 2020 collection, so it's available.

I love how he encouraged the models to speak up if their shoes were uncomfortable or have issues. Shoes can be the death of you on the runway
I really do think this show portrayed what Jacquemus really is about, it's not like the other brands, it has a lot of soul and history within the brand that gives out a summery feeling.

Imagine wearing a beautiful attire by one of your most favourite brands, whilst your making your way down the audience, it's just you walking in silence and listening to the wind breeze throughout the field with the view just surrounding you as you walk on. Those few seconds must feel like serenity. The models are extremely lucky.

Jacquemus is kind of the most beautiful person
Now, that is what I call 'immersive'. Merci, Loic for transporting us to the surreal landscape, the sunny smiles on the models' faces, and clothes made of clouds.
The first time I saw photos of this project I was quite surprised someone attempted such a splendid walk. Fascinating, I am happy to see the story behind the scenes.
This was a PERFECT show, all in terms of aesthetics, innovation, wearability, and artistry. I'm so happy that we've been blessed with his talent.

I just love how there were no background tracks or music playing before the start of the show. The sound of the countryside is the Best. The air, the harmonious silence, the humidity, the view, the sound of footsteps on the rocks ughhh I felt like i was there myself... I love you loic youre the best...😍😍😍😍😍

As someone who is a car designer; most people might think there may not be parallels between these two design disciplines, but I thoroughly appreciated this collection and show. It’s incredibly memorable. The sense of ‘motion’ expressed through the models, venue, and most importantly the clothes resonated with me. Outfits felt light, breezy, well proportioned, and most importantly effortless. Prints, textures, color palettes really captured his upbringing story. Loved every second of this. Jacquemus’s vision is certainly on my radar. One of my favorite up and coming designers that has a long bright future ahead of him. Big fan. Thank you for documenting this!

Jacquemus is my favorite brand, even though I can’t afford it but the way Simon transmit emotions through his designs is beautiful, his brand inspire me in a way that I can’t explain. For my I consider a fashion an art because you can talk through clothes, you can express yourself you CAN BE YOURSELF with fashion, just like other type of arts, but what Jacquemus does with its clothes is like hearing a story. Congrats !
