I'm disappointed The NBHD isn't too famous but I actually kinda like that they aren't too well known because I don't want them selling out and their music trying to conform to social standards, even though we know that probably will never happen.

I've loved the NBHD for soooo long man and I haven't found anyone who is in love with their music as I am, sure i've found a few people who like a few songs (and everyone, of course, likes sweater weather) But there's something about their music that transports me.
OMG you get that transporting feeling too? Like you're somewhere darker and moodier (is that even a word?) but although its dark and moody its an amazing place/feeling? Thats why i like to walk out to a park at night and listen to them its like living in some sort of dream for me :)

When's that I missed it?
This is by far the best, at least my favorite, NBHD song. The beat, the groove, the guitars, his voice, the melody, the lyrics, the way it ends and fades... just perfect. This song screams nostalgia, innocents, youth, naivety, young love, etc. Doesn't get any better for me than this song. Even the video is perfect. I Love You.

Could this song be about somebody losing their innocence in the alleyway? The singer reflects upon happier times while the chorus "I lost myself in the alleyway" repeats over and over. It could be about a damaged individual trying to remember the better times of his life.
