    Finally I found a Malaysian TH-camr for Lithops. Every video I've watched are not weather/temperatures friendly to our weather/temperature. I'm a Malaysian living in Bangkok at the moment. I'm also a new Lithops mama and already have a few in my collection but they are still tiny. Thank you for your video.

    • @justkeepitsimple3096

      Watering of lithops or conophytum when you see obvious wrinkles. The body is filled with water, any additional unwanted water given will burst the plant and kill it.

    Hi, thank you for this educational video. If the lithops come in potted form, not bare rooted, so when I repot, should I trim the roots?
    May I also ask for your soil mix. Thank you & God bless!

    • @justkeepitsimple3096
      @justkeepitsimple3096  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If potted form and there is still space for growth there is no need to report them. If you plan to report them, yes I would suggest you go through all the steps. Soil for young liptops needs higher peat moss soil, 40 grit and 60% grit/stones 1-2mm.For bigger Lithops you can go with 60-70-% grit 1-2mm and add 40-30% peat moss soil.

    Hi, thanks for the video! Very useful information. I'm from India. I have a green lithop that was recently purchased. The body seems a little too wrinkled and I'm worried. Also it feels squishy. It would be great if you could suggest a care.

    Thanks for sharing, taking care lithops in tropical climate.
    I wanna ask, is that true that lithops need cool night? If they dont get cool night, they only can survive for a short term, 1-3years only.

    • @justkeepitsimple3096
      @justkeepitsimple3096  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So far I put them under shaded spots. Malaysia cool nights are around 26-29 celcius. That is not as cool as we would like to give the Lithops, but they do ok so far. Very important is ventilation with air breeze. Indoor Lithops can be challenging if ventilation is not achieve even with the use of fan. Lithops just like any other plants love the natural nature.

      @@andikasuryananda7586 I am sure you can do it. Don't give up. Just don't water unless it is qrinkly, sometimes for months they don't need water. I have some that don't need water up to 6 months. Observation is important when it comes to watering needs, hold back our hands when don't need water. When the spot you put them is getting high heat, move them to a cooler spots. We both have high humidity with high moist in the air vs cold countries with dry air.

      You can mist soil and plant them after Lithops cut roots have callus in 2-3days or you can do deep watering. But for beginners I suggest soil misting before planting in the Lithops.
