I’m glad he got time to grieve over Elaine’s sister. Here in KY, we have to be back at work three days after our mothers, fathers and children die. We don’t have the luxury of having 40 million dollars in the bank and getting a six week leave of absence to grieve our losses.

I live in Arizona. I had to work the day we took my mom off life support and continued to work remotely through the week I was out of state with her that day and until her funeral. My boss even asked me that week why I seemed so distracted…

He destroyed all 3 branches of government, the Judicial branch when he stole a Supreme Court seat and being instrumental n appointing 3 Trump nominees 2 of which perjured themselves when they said Roe was settled law. Failed to convict Trump after the House impeachment saying "the Democrats will take care of that sob for us" which is why he is now a threat to taking over the Executive branch once again. He was the one person above all others who destroyed the bi-partisan working spirit of Congress. This is and will be McConnell's forever legacy.
Term limits and age limits need to be implemented.
On a personal level, Mitch, I’m sorry for your losses, and I’m glad that you are going to redirect your attention during your sunset years. On another level, you have been the ruthless general of the successful assault on the Judiciary at all levels in the United States of America. You have also hogged for your state, more federal money than any other per capita, well, denying basic rights and services to the less fortunate throughout the country. You are enjoying substantial, ill-gotten gains. Good riddance.

A wonderful day for our country is when they put a term limit in place. Also get rid of the parties. They talk about being united but have already separated themselves by being a republican or a Democrat. You don't need to belong to a party to make a decision that is best for our country.

Note the timing. A day or two before SCOTUS ruled they're protecting Trump by pushing his criminal trial down the road, you're telling me there wasn't a mole in the court who gave Mitch a heads up on the coming ruling within days? Resigning after the ruling would call more attention to his timing. That's when Mitch realized even his Supreme Court belonged to Trump now. Ironic that the very SCOTUS Mitch stacked effectively ended his own career.
Maybe Kentuckians will get an actual education system now……

KY has been in the mid to low 40s of the 50 states in everything from Education to Healthcare for as long as I remember. With the whirlwind advancements in A.I. and technology, we need to get younger people as leaders. People that have actually owned computers and grew up with them all their life. People that understand that Bill Gates doesn't have a big switch in his house that turns the internet on and off. It's critical that we address these issues and vote to educate so that we aren't left further behind than we already are.
