Widmouno The love phantom was one of my favorite. Everybody listened pop and i was like no thanks this is my shit. I don't remember how old i was but i was very young. (Sorry for bad english)
B'z is one of greatest artists from world Music history! The most units sale in one week in the music history! Songs to listen: Motel, Real Thing Shakes, Dont Leave me, Be there, Liar Liar, monster....
Hey I’m a B’z fan for my entire life and after all these years using internet to look for news of them I’m really glad I watched a reaction like yours! Thank you for praising their importance and talent worldwide. I’m Brazilian and it feels really lonely to recognize how big they are, it’s like, I just say to the others that I love so much a Japanese band (I tattooed them in my shoulder) but I can’t measure in words how great they are. You’re very kind. Thank you very much!
OMG, I used to love B'Z, like, in 2006, but I totally forgot about them and I'm so sorry for this now! My fav song is Easy Come Easy Go. Thanks for make me remember, I love all your reactions!
I'm a Japanese living in Canada. And is this guy from Canada? Thank you for reacting B'z. B'z is my favorite. And you should join their live. I've joined it 4 times so far. That's AMAZING. You'll see how their performance great.
As a B'z fan of so many years, I am so happy to find your video. They are legends and their professionalism is very impressive. I read somewhere that Koshi runs 10km every day to maintain his lung capacity. "Love Phantom" was released in 1995. When they have concerts, at least a handful of them are held at likes of baseball stadiums. So, the number of audiences can be from 8k to 55k. You are so right about you being better off listening live. They came to the US at least twice. The last one being in 2013, I think. They released "Into Free", which is an English version of an older song, but the song was used in a game called Dragon's Dogma. For the live version of B'z songs, you can use search terms like "B'z" and "LIVE-GYM". You'll find 100s of videos of Koshi running all over the stage.
Great video & as you said, they are criminally unknown outside of Japan! I must be the biggest B'z fan in the UK, I've been their fan for 15 years & I've been to Japan to see them Live 3 times, they are amazing Live. (I have also met Koshi's parents lol) I believe the last time they performed in USA/Canada was in 2012. (But they rarely perform outside of Japan ^^; ) That first song you listened to (Love Phantom) was from the mid 90's & was actually used as the end theme to the X-Files in Japan ^^
I‘m there biggest fan from Germany since 2000 or 2001 😜. How did you managed to see them live? Do you have Japanese friends? I want to see them soooooo much and have no idea without knowing a Japanese 😱
Well there are lots of stuff you told me that I didnt know, we have something in common, that you are the biggest fan in UK and I in Pakistan, thank you for sharing that knowledge
Thank you for your pickig up B'z! Actually, their lives are totally awesome. Tak got grammy awrard and had signature model of Gibson Kohshi's vital capacity is twice as ordinary males. My recommend is Taiyou-no-Komachi Angel! I wonder if you check them out more!!!
My favourite Japanese band! And speaking of Tak Matsumoto, maybe you've found this out already but anyway, he's a Grammy Award winner in 2010 for his collaborative album with Larry Carlton.
Thanks for very nice reacts and comments to B'z! I am a male from Tokyo, Japan and I've been fan of B'z for more than 8 years. I've mentioned that you are Canadian, and the supporting drummer of B'z, Shane Gaalaas is Canadian as well! In addition, B'z had held a gig at Vancouver in 2012! I am not sure when the next gig in North America would be, but if you have a chance in the future, I hope you will have a chance to go to B'z gig!! It's so exquisite!!
I'm big fan of B'z from Japan and so glad that their music spreads outside Japan through this video! Please listen to MY LONELY TOWN. I think the sound of this song is beautiful because of the mixture of strings and band music just like LOVE PHANTOM.
I'm watching this in 2023. By now, Mr Inaba is 60 and still looks and sounds amazing. I don't know about now, but back in 2018 he was running the stage like a mad man and screaming with top of his voice. His singing is different from other highly praised vocalists. Off stage, he's a well spoken gentleman. Well educated and speaks fluent English. 😂
As a fan of B'z, I'm so glad to see you liked their music.Anyway, have you seen "Live Dinosaur" DVD (or Bru-ray) that released in this month?Live version of "Dinosaur" is the truluy KILLER! I think (and hope) you will like that, too!
I used to be so into B'z like 12 years ago. Unfortunately I haven't kept current with them but they are definitely legends. Koshi apparently left his job as a math teacher because he refused to cut his long hair, iirc. When Christmas time rolls around, check out their song "Itsuka no Merry Christmas."
Thank you, thank you, thank you !! This band is so great, I'm so glad that you like it. Their sound is so fresh and like you said, 100k times better at live performances.
I am so glad you have decided to react to B'z (the u at the end is silent so you can just pronounce it like Beez)! They get overlooked by Western J-rock fans quite a bit, most likely because they are an older band and not linked to viskei in anyway. That said they are amazing live. I came up from the Seattle area to see them in Vancouver, BC when they had their 2011 North American tour and to this day it is one of my favorite concerts I have ever been to. The venue was much smaller than what they play in Japan but they still brought so much energy all throughout the concert as if it was one of their dome or arena concerts. I would recommend to anyone who likes them to see them live if they can. I would recommend their song "Home" for one of their ballads to try. And if you can find it they performed with Aerosmith for one of Aerosmith's Japan tours, and I know there is video of them performing a song called "Real Thing Shakes" together which is fun to watch.
I'm a listener in Japan! I'm glad that you introduced B'z that I have loved in 7years. As @MacRyanMac said, we feel SO MUCH energy, power, passion... If you check B'z, these songs wrote in English -- Love Bomb, Into Free - Dangan -, Juice (English version), and Sahara(Slash feat.Koshi Inaba) --makes you feel B'z!!

I discovered this band with Dragon's Dogma opening, "Into Free Dangan". Recently, I heard one of their song, "Friction", was in Burnout Paradise. Hope they keep it in the remake.
I saw tk from ling tosite sigure give huge praise to inaba, as one of his idols with the release of ‘scratch’ / ‘as long as i love’ So i had to come hear some of their music
Fun fact: Inaba Koshi used to have math teacher's license before B'z was formed Also they actually collaborated with Billy Sheehan from mr.big in several live shows before
Fun facts- The vocalist has teacher certificates (licenses) for teaching in elementary school and high school(math). The composer released the instrumental album with Larry Carlton and won an award for the Best Pop Instrumental Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards.
You really get correct and understand what outstanting point of B'z. It's past 30 YEAR's since they made a debut but the members, TAK Matsumoto on guitar and Koshi Inaba on vocal are still peforming amazing live stage at such a very very huge hall or dome even today. Yo, Ryan, I just found this group and felt in love with them within the first seconds of the first mv I watched. I thought you may fall for them also. And I know learning names is stressful, but please, react to them, I think they are an underrated group. I'm talking about VAV. Their songs Flower(You), She's Mine, Venus are one of my fave mv's of them. Hope you'll see this
I saw them live in Toronto Ontario Canada in September 2012. They're awesome. Also Koshi Inaba speaks fluent English and he also has solo albums too.
I'm really glad that you are impressed by them!! I love B'z and I want to them to be more famous to the world. Thanks for this great video
Hell yeah B'Z! I grew up listening to those guys, Ultra Soul is so legendary. Awesome seeing you reacting to them!

Agree, I started to not purchase their CDs after they changed their style to pop-rock and punk. But the Monster, Magic and Action is good though.
Wei Ling Chuang In their newest album “NEW LOVE” they went back to hard rock style so I think you’ll love it.

私が生まれたのはLiar Liarの年で
LOVE PHANTOM発売時は生まれてなかったけど、
今聞いても「昔のバンド」というより新しさ新鮮さを感じることができます!80年代を知らないからだけかもしれないけど、この時期のB’zの作品は今でも十分通用する素晴らしいものだと思う!
Liar Liar の年!懐かしい。あの頃はどのギタリストが格好いいとかでも盛り上がったなぁ。
「B'zのライブやべぇけど、ユングウィ・マルムスティーンは化け物だぜ」って言い出すやつも、

How about Kenshi Yonezu, who is a diverse artist and has become his representative song, "Lemon", which has been played 700 million times this time?
His song is J-POP, but it has various elements, and it is amazing that the two songs do not have the same tone.
He also composes, writes, produces, illustrations for his albums, or even MV illustrations.

And I know learning names is stressful, but please, react to them, I think they are an underrated group. I'm talking about VAV. Their songs Flower(You), She's Mine, Venus are one of my fave mv's of them. Hope you'll see this
fact: dinosaur was actually the soundtrack for the japanese version of geostorm.
Most of their songs were used for "Case Closed" (Detective Conan)
