- Probably one of the most terrible attempts in the way that everything that could possibly go wrong did at some point in the encounter.
1) Last Resort that ends up being wasted at the very end of P1.
2) Corruptions' procs have been trolling me the whole time on this one. Whether it is Grand Desillusions or perfectly irritable Eyes positioning.
3) That failed destack at the end of P2 that hurts and results in a considerable loss of time (around 10 secs).
4) The DPS-RNG was horrible. I could squeeze the boss to at least 50% with decent numbers. But when more than 50% of your DPS comes from your procs... hey. The game is another player.
Corruption being the big enjoyment killer that it has always been, the boss in itself is incredibly challenging otherwise. Just the P1, under console stacks optimized, took me a long time to pass and is more difficult than any boss soloed under the current expansion aside from a few exceptions (Cabal, G'huun, Heroic Jaina and Heroic Imonar at the time). Getting struck by melees for 40% of your total HPs each or Horions for 120% while tanking 2 bosses at the same time is just BRUTAL.
P2 in itself requires a lot of coordination and is still somewhat messy. Obviously, kiting the boss results in a considerable loss of DPS here or there but ends up being necessary in order to survive through 99 stacks while under console stacks.
P3 is something I've just began to reach for a few attempts, so I'll naturaly not spend a considerable amount of time elaborating on that aspect.
Now, this is frustrating.
With prepatch gone and Blizzard's promises to somewhat increase our DPS to compensate the loss of corruption, I was ready to give way more attempts afterwards.
However, looks like there's some value problem in the minds of Blizzard. Result: I lost around 40% of my total DPS from prepatch while in Tank spec, making all those Soloings absolutely irrelevant until the level 60.
The enfuriating part is that I gave 127 attempts on this boss (the video being that 127th attempt that led me to stop) and went through a lot of optimizations... for something eventually unfinished.
So, the boss will definitely fall next Xpac as I already managed to accumulate a lot of experience on it, no problem. Just... it could have been insane while leading to a SSS Rank solo-kill... instead resulting in a wasted opportunity.
Anyway, with this one, BFA is officially closed.
I pray that SL will be better gameplay wise, honestly. Although Blizzard is heading an absolute disastrous direction with these intertwined systems and infinite headaches of scaling at the end of the day...

Good job!
I tried to solo Za'qul under BFA8.3,The best temple was round65% health,It is so far, more and more add plus fear and stun that I couldn't due to the survivalcheck.
Yup, Za'qul is cringy as hell. The problem I encountered on him came from his 10 minutes enrage, and the immense loss of DPS due to the constant stuns and fears. 43% otherwise. Maybe there is a world where he would have been doable with a perfect RNG and some infinite star and insane crit proc gameplay (not falling on the adds but focusing the boss = multiply the RNG factor). But I'll be very graceful and polite by saying... that fight almost made me puke. This is by no means an overstatement.
@@Wannoob79 That's real realistic.Relying on the infinite star to solve the enrage, this fight is like the mythic mother.
In retrospect, do you think you would've been able to down her with the hard cut off in P4 due to Essence of Azeroth if the patch hadn't hit?
gameplay will never not be cringe unfortunately, MoP is in the past :(
