@@dinasyzhirckow8040 i looked to the game and it has awfull trash grapichs man for 2020 what a bad design is that?? no i don't take that trash grapichlly game thanks.
Loved the first game, can't believe there's a sequel already. Kinda hope there was a little exploration aspect in this game, kinda like dishonored. But still, it adds a uniqueness in its gameplay and pacing, it's called ghostrunner for a reason
Sometimes simple straight forward games are fun. The whole open-world exploration stuff ruined gaming in my opinion. Some games are good but these types of games need more room. Focus on the game and more fun then just graphics and open-worldness.
I was worried that the bike stuff was going to be gimmicky and one-note, and maybe it still will be, but what's shown here was actually exhilarating. Having to go absolutely top speed non-stop or ending in a failure state was sick and now I'm way more excited for this
Interesting, some of the cues for the breakable walls and executions feels like it was inspired from Doom and Doom Eternal. Really nice that the devs are taking notes of what works in other games and implementing it to to their own.
First game: being drop after losing the left arm Second game: jump from his own with both arms and a "energy generated" shuriken Third game: drop from his own with his Tsuru-GR to deflect bullets and landing in front of one group of the Climbers, with Zoe just behind him
That was awesome! Do have to agree with everyone else that the characters talk too much though it's nice to hear more from Jack. Other than that, it looks incredible.
Yo if u want ghostrunner 2 soundtrack of the entire game and i mean the entire game not only demo then chek my channel pls. dont want like and sub only want ppl to listen to that music i found from game files.
This walkthrough is so clear. He didn't die at all. That's cool. By the way, I think ghostrunner 2 demo is less cool then ghostrunner 1 demo. Idk may be it is because of bigger locations in gr2 demo or because of music, which is not so banging as in gr1 demo. But anyway gr2 demo is fine. P.s. I'm talking only about demos; will see what gr2 will be when it will release.
i wonder if its possible when you are eliminated by the NPC , before pressing R there may be a short video form the NPC view showing how players jumping and kill other NPCs and how this NPC eliminate the player , for around 5 seconds? that might be very cool showing the difficulty to finish the game and how fear ghostrunner means to the enemies in your world concept
Looks dope, I just hope they reduce the amount of grunting Jack does. Not sure if it's just me but while sliding and jumping around it seemed a bit excessive, I'm all for those sounds while getting hit or the like, but in a fast paced game where sliding and jumping is more common than killing enemies it might get a bit annoying
MAN WE'RE OUTSIDE THE TOWER! one thing i would like some much to do is explore the world of ghostrunner, know what is going on outside of the super tech tower. i can't wait to see other type of enemy's too and other new mechanics of gameplay
Seems promising, but there are somethings that just don't look right. The walking animation looks goofy af with the slight jiggle of the katana. The dash has no weight behind it. It "feels" like you're just jumping the character forward (like a frame is being skipped). It would be better if it acted more like the titan dash from Titanfall 2 where it is drawn out a little longer like there some actual weight behind the movement. There appears to be no preservation of momentum after the dash which probably causes the feeling for me, it looks unnatural. The executions are also really goody. Especially at 2:50 where the player (who appears to be made of metal(?)) attacks an enemy that is also metallic, but the noise made from the punch is like hitting a pillow for some reason? Then there's the execution at 3:01 where the player grabs onto a thing that looks to be made of some sort of soft fabric (scarf-like?), but it acts like a piece of metal/solid, further you would think that a sharp weapon hitting metal would make a grinding noise or something and not a 'thunk' noise. The explosives also act weirdly. They appear to be a solid barrel and as such would make only a singular explosion, yet it acts like a cluster bomb with extra sub-munitions exploding after the primary explosion. The explosion radius looks weird too, one such example is at 5:02 where the enemies are visibly beyond the effect of the explosion (that has no visible shockwave) yet are still killed. Other than that though the explosion effect itself looks really goddamn good. Dialogue/story is clearly the devs forte. "God I hate her" - 2 minutes later - cooperating fully. Seems a little weird to make Zoe say that and then have them fully cooperate without even that long of a time in between these 2 events. Visual design on the other hand is absolutely amazing, everything looks amazing especially with the art style which makes things look both real and cyberpunk-y at the same time. Beautiful.
@@kipraslukaitis So i strongly recomend the first to understand a few story details cause Zoe is kinda in a position that on one hand she needs all help she can get but on the other not all people are fitting for her as best buds. Dash in my opinion seems to actually be more smooth-ish in comparison to the prequel. Additionally player is made of metal cause he is cyborg/robot ninja and the other sword enemies just copy him w augments. All in all i agree animation look tiny bit goofy especially explosion but it's still demo they can change something still
I played this demo a few weeks ago, was horrible because I was forced to play with controller :( When I demo'd Ghostrunner 1, it was amazing because it was on PC and I was able to give actual feedback on the movement. When I played the demo the next day, the movement change was implemented and it felt SO MUCH BETTER! Thanks to the dev for actually listening.
@lukeskywalker8706 Yea they are good when you are used to controllers. I quit console gaming in 2014 so a first person platformer with quick combat is a bit rough hahaha. On mouse and keyboard, I loved ghostrunner, I was actually able to play it effectively
This is looked great and I'm looking forward to it. I just hope those NPCs would stop talking for longer than 5 seconds so I can listen to the music when playing.
This looks too cool and exciting, although I know it's going to be just as hard if not harder than the first one. I feel if I can beat this game, I can do just about anything, that's what I'll hold myself to.
yooo thats sick, but the movement seems to lack fluidness: the grapple is stiff and just gives an ugly punch-boost, there's no sprint of any kind, the camera movement when entering slide is weird, the pole bars launch you too high up (seen at 5:10). Hope it will be improved in the release
I made the mistake of playing Titanfall 2 before playing the first game and the movement felt so clunky and slow. I was hoping the sequel would improve running.
The gameplay doesn't look as instantaneous as the predecessor. The biggest challenge of Ghostrunner was that he doesn't stop running. You literally think on your feet. But here in the first 1 minute only he's come to a halt twice-t hrice. NGL I'm kinda scared to buy it
Well you could do that in both games in my experience; here he just stops for the tutorial hints and to better show off the new mechanics. I’m sure you could tackle this a lot smoother like in gr1

I like that powers don't cost the whole power reserve, but I do feel sad that the old ones are gone, I loved surge and blink.
this is a demo, they prob just gave us these 2 to mess with and if you pay attention you will see there is a third empty slot for a power move
Plus in the gr scp/inventory theres a inaccessible ultimate section
