The expert saying what not to do before/after/as the guys are doing that very thing will never get old.
The best is when they say they only need an egg or two and Eugene is just smiling at the camera and putting 8 eggs in😂
Thinking the same thing 🤣
It’s my favorite part of “without a recipe”!!
Those moments cracks me up so much
I watch just for these reasons
The fact that Eugene Took time from his cooking to make sure keiths chicken didnt burn as he was scrambling for a sink is true friendship/sportmanship
In the "gingerbread house" challenge, Eugene was behind everyone else in getting his cookies into the oven. Keith brought 2 trays of Eugene's cookies to the outside oven to give Eugene time to finish his trees and get those into the inside oven. These guys are awesome.
Eugene has come a long way. That scene instantly reminded me of the ice cream cone recipe where he was so reluctant to heed keith's advice xD

Well done!!!

Way to go, YB!
The best part of these videos is always when the expert inevitably says, "Never use X," and then we *immediately* cut to at least three of them using a ton of it.
Whole heartedly agree!
That's also my favorite
That's like their version of "can we skip to the good part"

@@kaiasdogmom for me he looked pretty pleased with himself lol
That happened in the bread episode too
So on brand
ned “accidentally” making pasta instead of noodles is the most on brand thing he could’ve done in this episode
He just said “fuck it I’m not even going to try to do it” and did what he knows how to do
One thing about Ned: he loves flexing his Italianness as much as he loves his wife
Wait, what's the difference?
@@MargauxNeedler noodles is more of a generic and pasta is noodles but specifically Italian, all the way to the type of sauce and other flavors that he served it with
@@MargauxNeedler quite a lot actually. The type of flour, the egg, the cooking process all plays a large role in the dish. Biang biang noodles arent egg noodles like pasta is. There are so many different types of noodles with all different types of textures for example soba which is very delicate or noodles like naengmyeon which are extremely chewy. You would never consider either to be even remotely similar to pasta in any way.
The way Keith was authentic with

As a Cajun Woman, Eugene's style of "measure with your heart" is very much approved by me. Also, when he started choking putting in the Cajun seasoning, I thought, "That's exactly how we do it in Louisiana. If you aren't choking/sneezing then it isn't enough."

@@luccamalualves8261 Don't disgrace us. He is a fraud
@@luccamalualves8261 What people around the world know as "italian pasta" is only one of the many kinds we have (not shape, I'm talking about the making of the pasta, the actual ingredients) and it's the most common kind. Its' called "pasta secca" (literally "dry pasta", because you don't cook it fresh as you do with some kind of noodles, like the ones in the video, ) and doesn't require eggs at all. I saw this comment right as the video goes over the chef saying "if you use this spice, only use two of them, they're incredibly strong" and then it pans to Keith using like 10.
I agree! I still think the videos are really entertaining, but I feel like ever since Cooking Without a Recipe became more popular/ televised it’s become super rigged and judging isn’t based off of the actual challenge at hand anymore🤦🏻♀️ especially in the video posted before this one

Ned having too much integrity to follow through with the machine cut noodles is very on brand and I'm here for it 🙌
I'm a Chinese person from Xi'an. Biang biang noodles is one of my favorite dishes growing up!
"Biang" is actually a made-up word specifically for naming that dish. It is a VERY difficult word to write with an insane number of strokes and a complicated structure. There is even a proverb that specifically teaches you the steps to write this word.
The bang bang guy's hand-pulling looks legit, and I'm sure it must be so tasty, but you'll NEVER find raw cabbage on top of biang biang noodles in China. Some common, more traditional toppings are diced pork stir-fried with soy sauce, stir-fried tomatoes and eggs, tofu, pak choi, and chives. You can put a sauce, or you can heat up some oil and pour it over the noodles for a finish - the oil should sizzle when touching the noodles, and uh it tastes so freaking good.
And omg the name Zach gave to his dish had me dead - there is another Chinese noodle dish from Sichuan that's ACTUALLY called "dan dan noodles". It's hand-cut thin noodles in a bone broth with a mildly spicy and sour flavor. The noodles do not make "dan dan" noises in any part of the making process though lol. It's called "dan dan" because it was used to be sold on the street carried on a shoulder pole - called bian dan, or dan, in Chinese.
It was amazing and so much fun seeing you guys tossing weird stuff on top of "noodles" that absolutely did not biang 😂 Looking forward to more!

@@NSAB120 I feel like when you’re that much Italian, you should probably say your family is the other 80%
Ned: Goes to Yale for Chemistry
Ned: develops pandemic baking obsession and does really well on the bread without a recipe
Also Ned: "Oil is what makes dough stretchy"
you're KILLING ME here, Ned.
And then the donuts!!! But he was creative
The very first "without a recipe" they Try Guys did was bread. Eugene won. lol
I was looking for this comment!!! I yelled at the screen so many times😂😂
The fact we are all watching this AFTER the news- I really hope the show gets renewed despite the Ned made scandal bc we all love the try guys and they deserve this. Also god Ned is sooo cringey!!!!! And we love spotting Matt :)
The more I watch old videos, Ned is really cringey
It’s almost like he wanted to play a character. He was scared that they were going to catch on. He is putting this face to make his money. I just feel bad for their family.
Also, where is Matt?
@@ZaynMalik-sq2liI always thought he was cringe lol but I always thought he was funny when he wasn’t trying so hard to match the guys over dramatic energy. Like when he was all “zendaya ? From the big foot movie?”
The fact that Zach’s apron was sooooo messy is hilarious compared to the other three guys with their clean aprons 😂
"True Mark of a chef: messy apron, clean sleeves!"
29:44 They're so used to it rn lol. Eugene is like a magic wizard that is able to make stuff taste good, despite all the spices and alcohol.
The alcohol might be the magic touch tbh 🤣
"4th place is Zach"
"Are you nuts?"
"naw, you knew"
-----
"Think of the children!"
"We did, that's why I gave you last"
I love this guy 😂
I died
Zach: “Are you nuts?”
Kalen with absolutely zero hesitation: “No you know”
I DIED HAHAHAHA
Zach’s noodles are like Elf’s spaghetti and syrup concoction 😂
We had that during the musical (local production) and we added sour candy on closing night-their faces were absolutely priceless when Buddy and his brother were eating it on stage
Ned - "I can't cheat, gotta do what's right" "what am I doing, why would I ruin something perfect... I'm going to do something I've never done before and live with the consequences!"
The subconscious mind speakss
Try Guys + Kalen just makes sense! Can't wait to watch!
I hope he's a reoccurring judge!!
Kalen is a treat!
I'll be honest, this episode might have one of the funniest pannel of judges in the entire without a recipe history
Yeah I really liked the judges!
Gingerbread houses without a recipe is still my fav panel of judges
@@jessicaberger560 right?! Like, I know the joke with Bobby being there was that he makes houses but I need them find an excusr to bring the entire panel back
yes! they were able to do good critiques while also being really funny
nahhhh i'd say the mac & cheese and gingerbread house
I always love Keith and Eugene’s dynamic. So funny and sweet.
Every part of me wants Chef Ramsey to one day be a judge for an episode.
Omg I need it.
The creativity of his insults towards the Try Guys will reach new levels
Omg I can only imagine Ramsey tasting Zach’s food 😂
It’s crazy watching and seeing how far back they must have filmed this show. Zach is in the middle of his transformation and looks so different!
Wait till you see the food network episode!
I think this is definitely from like over a year ago. Eugene had this look around July of 2021z
What transformation?
@@crystalorduna4495 don't you see him at the vid ? he's literally bigger than he ever was, and there is video about him trying to get healthier and building muscle due to his chronic ilness
@@keyzzz04 you're so right!
3:20 something about Eugene waiting patiently for everyone else to grab their bowl first seemed so sweet to me :')
Why is no one talking about how sweet it was when Keith ran off and Eugene sautéed his chicken for him so it didn’t burn
The fact that even Eugene reacted to the Schezuan peppercorns, tells me it might be too spicy and I will never eat it alone.
It's mala spice so it's numbing haha it's very different from regular spicy chili so some people cannot handle it well. I usually eat very spicy (like bird eye chili), but the peppercorn is like creepily in the back of your neck numbing sensation. Try it sometime!
I bit into one at a hotpot place and thought I was having an allergic reaction. It's bananas if you're not expecting it.
Schezuan peppercorn is mala which is a whole different sensation from just regular spiciness. If you've never tried it it'll feel REALLY weird the first time you have it lol. Kinda feels like when you hit your elbow wrong and your arm starts feeling like static, but with your entire mouth
Ned's sticking with being part Italian as his personality because he can no longer pretend to be a good husband and father
Oh snap shots have been fired!!! And he can't even get that right either 😂
Damn 😭💀
Killer read, just roasted his ass
The way it cuts to Zach seasoning when he says “I have footage to prove it.” 😂😂
it's actually very nice to see Zach being proud of his product for once
I'd like to see him out of a job
@@Carlos-wp7gz I'd like to see him give a shit for once
He did choose regular ingredients and the dino tofu too. He got better 👏🏻
@@Carlos-wp7gz what
If you’d told me the best part of Zach’s dish was the cereal tofu I would never have believed you.
Also, bye Ned! Can we replace him with Ariel?
Bro yes
They need to replace Ned with a doppelgänger but never address the change. Still call him Ned.
Sounds like she's actually staying with the creep. 🙄
Separation is fucking hard, especially when you have kids, but I think it's always a mistake to stay after someone fucks up that badly.
Vouch, Ariel is pog.
i think they should fill neds space with a different celebrity/ cool person guest for the challenge episodes! of all the guys he adds the least to the show, it'd be a welcome change.
Eugene "I'm just sautéing your chicken for you!"
Keith immediately calms down.
THIS is friendship 🥰🥰🥰
I wish they got judged together. You can tell, they were nervous and they normally play off of each other when they notice one is uncomfortable.
Other than that hilarious
Agreed wondering why they changed that part
Yeah I absolutely agree! I noticed right away when they were judging eugene that he seemed uncomfortable and awkward
I'm so bummed that Ned did what he did. They had so many fun videos planned. His life was so blessed, why Ned why
Ego
I get he cheated, but the only thing I thought of when you said this was that he made an Italian dish for an Asian dish challenge. 😂
@@JaneBurns1 Remember dumplings? He only knows how to make pasta dough.
Because he’s rotten
Keith and Eugene eating the Szechuan peppercorn was VERY Ned.
I'm so used to hearing them say "without a recipe" that every time they said "with no recipe" I was like wait, am i watching the right show?
“I can’t cheat, I gotta do what’s right!” If only Ned was true to his word
watching them go through buzzfeed, to their own independent channel, to now a whole DISCOVERY+ SERIES?? they grow so fassst ;-;

WHAT HAPPENED TO P.I.P!? We need ANSWERS IT WAS FREEEE
TH-cam?!?
Petition to have Rhett and link on without a recipe
That would be Ahh-mazing
I don’t think they’d trust link with knives
As a person who can’t eat gluten, I know EXACTLY WHAT IT DOES FOR FOOD and knew this was going to be good when they all went for AP flour.
Yes hello me too
I need to make it stretch! Oil and water will make it stretch! ….. what?!
The GLUE!!! Gluten is the Glue
also my nightmare so can relate
Eugene winning without actually hand pulling the noodles, Ned basically making pasta, Zach trying to go for fun and ending up with weird and Keith recreating a favourite of his, all very on brand.
Also, very impressed by Keith, Big Keith Chicken sounds like it would be amazing if they ever did a retry on this episode.
“That drama was unnecessary” 😂 Eugene is so effortlessly hilarious
I love how they slowly evolved from a silly cooking show they did to just ✨try✨ into HAVING A FULL BLOWN COOKING SHOW WITH EXPERT JUDGES 😭💛
“Did you think about the children?”
“I did, that’s why we gave it last…”

13:37 Eugene is really just that one vine that goes "and two shots of vodka" but like pours half the bottle in
It's from a food network show, I forget her name but the lady is famously alcoholic
i love it when the try guys add something to their dish, and then it immediately cuts to the professional saying that they shouldn't do that
