Hi, thanks for the help. I have HP T630 Thin, and I could not prepare USB for bios update (the exe program didn't work, just "died" without displaying any window). So I formated the USB as FAT32, created "Hewlett-Packard" folder there, and copied the 2 folders "BIOS" and "BIOSUpdate". Then reboot, F10, and it worked!

Can you do one for asus systems? Their bios is not a exe format but it is a single file

Yes, it will increase the speed of the OS. Thats more notorious when the old HDD is a mechanical one.

Yes. The default SSD in the t630 has a write speed of apprx. 25 MB/s. With a newer one (mine is a cheap intenso 512 GB for ~30€) I get 320 MB/s. You need to buy a M.2 SSD. *Not* a M.2 NVMe!!

I have t640 thin client, I installed windows 11 on it.
I'd think, not 100% sure, you can install windows on the t740.
The thing to notice is that windows will not run super fast as these models are more for low Linux processes/services.
Mine came with no OS,. Then, you can test for either win 10 or win 11

No. Only M.2 SSD. Not M.2 NVMe.

Ventoy+Hirens or just hirens running directly on the HP-T630 and we don't need any other computer to download and update firmware.
