I don't know if anyone has told you, but MAMA took place over 2 consecutive evenings, first in Japan and then in Hong Kong. This video is from the night in Japan. AND the Japanese are really strict about copyright. Chances are that you will get a strike from youtube. To play it safe you might want to take this video down. By the way... FACE YOURSELF-written in the intro- is the title of one of BTS' Japanese albums. I really think you should check out the MMA's, which took place before MAMA. A truly epic performance of Fake Love and IDOL. You will get a much better resolution if you download the video instead of live streaming. When I downloaded it, I got true high def. th-cam.com/video/G636qEIlCnY/w-d-xo.html
it was held in japan but the copyright strike wouldn't be coming from japan, it'd be coming from cj e&m (the south korean company that owns mnet), so whether it's the night in korea or japan or hong kong they'd be equally strict in what they strike. the strict japan copyright is mainly concerning mvs and such released under bts' japan label. regardless there's still a higher risk for copyright strike since companies like cj e&m and naver etc are much more strict about bts content that they broadcast/release (on mnet, vlive, etc) than say, videos uploaded by bighit.
MAMA is held in 3 locations each years (Korea, Japan, Hong Kong). But the video is still from the Mnet K-Pop channel, so it's owned by a Korean company.
ANPANMAN is a Japanese cartoon superhero and he's also regarded as the weakest superhero. His head is made out of bread, he gives a piece of himself to the people who are in trouble or those who are starving, but it can make him weaker in return and the only way to regain his strength is to replace his head by going to the baker. This super hero is made to teach children that anyone can be a super hero by helping others, and that even the smallest things can help people who are in need. And now about the song, BTS is telling us that they may not be as strong as Superman or Ironman, but they can be our Anpanman. They'll give us strength whenever we need it, even if it's also hard for them. And that's what they've been doing ever since they debuted, they wanted to be a REAL LIFE SUPERHERO not a superhero with capes and super power. They've changed so many lives through their music and platform, genuineness, their inspirational life stories, their dedication, their albums/songs that they associated with advocacy/campaign, and so many more. I remember what RM said last-last year, he said that “If we helped your dream and your life a bit with our existence, our music, our performances, our pictures or videos, even if it’s not big, if we could reduce your pain from 100 to 99, 98 or 97 that makes our existence worthy”. And at their concert at CITI FIELD NEW YORK, RM said “It’s never intended but it feels like I’m using you guys to love myself. So I wanna say something, please. Please use me, please use BTS to love yourself. Cause you guys help me learn to love myself, everyday.“ And their speech at the UNITED NATIONS GENERAL ASSEMBLY, not only that they made history but also their speech and campaign gave us another life changing inspiration. They are real life super heroes!
The masks go back to Fake Love. It's part of that story line. The story of Anpanman is he's a superhero made of anpan (sweet red bean bread) and how he saves people is by giving them a piece of himself. He's considered the most selfless hero because he loses strength in order to save people. It being a good year for them: yes and no. They broke records, sold out major stadiums and won many awards but it wasn't always a good time. If you want to see what I mean by that watch this, th-cam.com/video/xVLRC1wR7cg/w-d-xo.html it's their acceptance speech for Artist of the Year from this year's MAMA awards (asian Grammys).
Ugh yes, thank you bringing that up - that speech slayed me. One of the biggest things that has always stood out to me with BTS, and why they are my favorite - is how humble they are. No matter how big they have become, they remain that way.
BTS had an epic year but also a very stressful year...you can check out their acceptance speech at MAMA in Hong Kong to see what I am talking about. If you are interested, their wikipedia page is kept pretty up to date and there is an actual link to an awards page for them. Thanks for the reaction!
Them smiling and looking like they legit have fun on stage is one of their known strengths as performers. They themselves have said they LOVE to perform and that during their long breaks, prepping for their new comeback and tour, they get withdrawals from not being on stage. Performing is their Euphoria.
I am so glad you liked this song. It is a super fun song and has been performed live many times but this one is super hype! You should watch some pf the other live versions. This was BTS's year. I know I will miss a lot because they literally have been crushing records all year but just a few: They released 3 albums (all three sit at #1, #2, #4 respectively on the World Album charts and #3 is their album from last year and are still charting on US charts), 2 mixtapes, several remixes/collabs with western artists like Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, Wale, Nikki Minaj, and a few solo songs. In total over 71 new songs...this year alone. 2 albums debut at #1 on Billboard 200 just 3 months apart (first ever) First RIAA GOLD certified album by a Korean group (I think) Several songs have gone GOLD & PLATINUM this year alone There are tons of streaming records broke on You Tube, Spotify and iTunes and sales awards...they have sold something like 5 billion units. Sold out WORLD tour with dates added including the first stadium venue for a kpop act in US at NY Citifield sold out in 10 mins. in October .(tour is still ongoing...ends in April 2019) Countless AWARDS...over 100 internationally including Artist and Album of the year at the MAMA awards This was their third consecutive year to win artist of the year (never done before) 2nd win at the US Billboard awards, ...honestly, they have crushed every award show. I can't even count how many Asian awards they have won. Countless appearances internationally including Jimmy Fallon, James Cordon, Good Morning America, Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, America's Got Talent and many in the UK and Canada. GRAMMY nomination for Love Yourself Tear (technical award for best package) - first for a kpop group Selected as United Nation Gen X Ambassadors and spoke at the UN (first ever by a kpop group) Awarded Cultural Merit Award by Pres of Korea for their positive representation of Korea Internationally - youngest recipients ever They are Unicef ambassadors and started the LoveYouself campaign aimed at ending violence against youth around the world. They raised over 1.4 million dollars so far for Unicef: a percentage through album sales and merchandise sales along with fan donations. They individually have made many charitable donations to many organizations...all in the name of ARMY. Additionally they have inspired several fan led ARMY organizations to donate to various charities. Check out OneInAnArmy.com. each month a charity is selected and fans donate to these charities in the name of BTS to help change the world. A lovely example of their impact: at the Citifield concert fans donated hundreds of blankets and canned foods for the homeless of NY. Items were divided between a few charities for the homeless and hundreds of thank you cards were written by fans, collected and distributed to the employees of concert venues showing appreciation for them. I have never seen such humble, talented and hard working music artists. ever. having such an impact on the world. It's really a beautiful thing. They are not just musicians but lovely humans. I think people radiate towards them because they are such good guys, working hard and being vulnerable about their struggles. They create a very intimate relationship with their fans. While I know we don't see/know everything, they allow their fans glimpses into their lives and talk about their struggles as much as their successes. They love each other so much and we see that and embrace that. It makes you want to love others like they love each other. Their mission from the beginning was to be a representative of youth focusing on real issues but most importantly...in a positive way. If you asked me to sum up BTS in one word it would be: LOVE. This world needs lots more of it! Do yourself a favor and watch lyric videos when you can. Besides all these achievement, BTS makes great music. I know I am leaving out things because it really is mind blowing the level of success they finally received this year. I am so proud to be an ARMY. I am so happy the western music scene is finally beginning to embrace them. sorry so long....
This song choreography is just fun for them, not a really tight one, the other song that has a fun choreo is Go Go (check out the Go Go heart performance). Their choreo is usually very hard.. If you're a dancer, you might enjoying the dance practice for their SBS performance, No More Dream, N.O, concept trailer, all of them are when they just had their debut from 5 years ago. Or check out the more recent dance practice for the song Fire, Spring Day, Blood Sweat&Tears, Fake Love, DNA, Idol.. You should find it in Bangtan TV channel, they won't give you a strike for copyright.
2016, 2017 and 2018 were bts’s year akjskjs they won artist of the year 3 years in a row and the first group to do so!! 2019 will be bts’s year too just like RM said 🤠
you missed first part of Fake Love That Intro + Fake Love Performance was spp lit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAMA is biggest asian Award!!!!! This year was in three days splitet, Seoul, Tokyo, HongKong Anpanman is song deep meaningful, which is charakter of japanese cartoon. Anpanman is bread man , BTS made him as Hero, He mustn't like stereo type Batman, Spider man Bread man gave bread from him to other people, who starved, etc What is their point is every one can be hero
I recommend watching “Idol” music video and then watch their “Idol” performance at the 2018 MMA. You’ll be blown away by their epic performance! Absolutely hands down their best performance all year!! Love BTS!! Fan4Life!! 😍😍💜💜💜💜💜💜💜😍😍
As you probably already know, there's the BU (Bangtan Universe) with tons of theories from ARMY. This is the order that the MV's should be watched :) I NEED U MV (19+ version… the censored version cuts out a lot of the storyline) On Stage: Prologue VCR Run MV Epilogue: Young Forever MV WINGS short films (There are 7 - Make sure to find versions with English subtitles!) 1. The masks falling off are because they had their 3 last albums based on the theme love yourself! I love the message they spread about learning to love yourself
If you want to see more about their achievements please react to who is BTS the seven members of bangtan, and BTS from nobodies to legends 2 with your friend pretty please. l know you reacted to the first on your own but please react to it with your friend, or definetely the second one. After the MMA 2018 of course.
As far as checking out awards... BTS gave a stunning speech when they were accepting the daesang, Artist of the Year award, in Hong Kong. Everyone was in tears and it sent a ripple of shock through ARMY. th-cam.com/video/M4MMZljAYfU/w-d-xo.html
Wooo! Love Anpanman! Thank you. Gonna throw this one back up as a request, as a few of us have wanted you to see it: BTS's MMA 2018 FULL - aka "Who are you". This link is one of the only of the full: th-cam.com/video/G636qEIlCnY/w-d-xo.html Important note: "MAMA" and "MMA" (Melon Music Awards) are 2 different award shows. And MAMA specifically is split up over multiple days/cities. I know we have been throwing requests for both shows at you, so just wanted to make sure you knew what to look for. And try to find "full" performance videos, because the official channels split up performances in videos and don't provide all the songs they actually do that day (but fans splice them into a single video often for you). This video you reacted to is a good example - the Japan performance also included Fake Love and an outro, but the official channel split it into another video (which to be honest, is okay because the light is so dark for that performance you don't see the good parts and there's other shows they do it that's better).
I love your enthusiasm when watching BTS - please review Jimin's solo "Filter". I would be very interested in learning what you think. Thank you for your channel!
If you can your better reacting to Bangtan Bombs of this sort of thing otherwise they Mnet will copywrite strike you. The other trick people use is to mirror the video.
