Thank you for explaining the repetitive style of our singing. Someone criticised that and I tried to explain that a lot of our music verses are repetitive and meditative. It takes one to a deeper belief and conviction of what one is saying and I would not change it. Very well explained by you.

I used to listen to American gospel during the past few years, and I just saw south African gospel artist being elevated, those that are called by his name, ever since ,I saw that I never looked anywhere,
At times he sounded like a trumpet...he definitely knows how to use his instrument! But most of all his total inclusion of God ushers in that annointed heaven touched intimacy that allows us to feel God's presence sharply with more potency!

I have a catalogue of international songs appropriated by Mzansi artists, even JC has many songs that they "remade" to fit our Mzansi style of Gospel. Bishop Benjamin Dube has had many of those songs as well. Including Do it Lord, Bow down and Worship, Lord we love you(taken from Fredd Hammond) and many other songs....
