While exploring Yellapura we visited Devkar/Kanoor waterfalls which is a less known tourist place near Yellapura. We first went to Shirley falls but it was closed. Devkar falls is 30KM from Yellapura, there was landslide on the way. This should be on among places in your Uttara Kannada places to visit list.

One of the best remote falls around Yellapur. The main road between Yellapur and Kaiga township is one of the most beautiful narrow roads around our North Karnataka. Further down beyond Mallapur you will find a wonderful trekking place called Shirve Gudda. One way hike is about 5 km and through thick forest. Also in Mallapur is the Kadra dam and it's downstream that's beautiful. In your next visit to this part, can try these places.

you ppl shd visit Ermayi Falls and Didupe Falls in Ujire. Both are marvelous. Didupe is mind blowing, hidden inside the forest. I think this is the right time to visit those falls as it will be in full glory.
