Looking for the cars to avoid? 🚫 Check out '17 WORST Cars That NO ONE Buys According to Consumer Reports 👉th-cam.com/video/HHyHeRAy31k/w-d-xo.html : Let me know in the comments which SUV from this list is your top pick.
The Toyota RAV4 does NOT have CVT transmission. It has an eCVT transmission which differs substantially from a CVT. I suggest you research that more for yourself.
All cars are money pits unless you keep them for 15 years or more like my brother. It’s just a matter of degree and how much financial pain you are willing to endure.
Since both the 2024 and 2025 Subaru Forester belong to the same fifth generation, the 2025 model makes more sense. It's likely the last version of this generation, meaning Subaru has had time to fine-tune and perfect the design, features, and performance.
You pay more for a hybrid vehicle and pay more in higher insurance costs and the savings in fuel doesn’t offset the higher costs. Any turbo 4 bangers are a joke The best suv for any aging person is a 2022 or earlier Lexus RX 350 with the 3.5 liter V6
Please address one big question - how many of these SUV’s are comfortable for a 6’ 3” or taller senior. Ive yet to find one. I want something efficient and comfortable but not a 7 or 9 passenger boat i dont need. Please point one out thats not made for anyone but shorter folks! 75” is not a giant. It’s only a few inches taller than an average American male.
I’d go with the Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid. It’s the perfect mix of roomy and efficient without feeling like a massive 7-seater. For someone 6’3”, it offers plenty of headroom (39.5 inches) and legroom (44.1 inches), so you’ll be comfortable without cramming yourself in.
FYI I am 76 5'7" and cannot see over most of these vehicles hoods, which creates a HUGE blind spot. As to one of many EV downfalls- you can buy a lot of gasoline for the frequent cost of tire replacement

You Definitely have a few ' Money Pits ' included, in your Vdeo !!

Good video! However, reliability is my issue, many of these cars don’t fit that category…..
All these vehicles cost more than my first home!!!
The previous generation 4Runner 4.0L V6 got better fuel efficiency than the new generation with the 4 banger turbo
Simplicity?
Most if not all new vehicles are so tech laden that “some” seniors find too much .
Wha do you recommend 2024 vs 2025 Subaru Forester. As Senior driver….I appreciate the improved 360 view on 2025

Subaru DOESNT have a Frame, it’s a Unibody
Mkp😊
To much money, no thanks
Too big and heavy. I rather go for the compact cars.
The 25 Forester has 180 horsepower .
The 25 4Runner has the same power train from the UNRELIABLE 24 Tacoma
