Useful Trick To Solve 'Infinitely Many Solutions' to System of Equations Questions

  • Solving systems of linear equations (simultaneous equations) by evaluating determinants is a very common College Entrance exam question - amongst them, solving 'infinitely many solutions' questions is likely the most frequently found.
    There is a good trick that can be employed in solving these quickly, using augmented matrices plus a corollary of Cramer's Rule, which we explain at the beginning of the video. We then illustrate how to use the trick with three examples from recent JEE Main exams.
