About I Dream Of Jeannie: Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman star in this classic ‘60s comedy about a genie and her master. When astronaut Tony Nelson is forced to crash-land on a remote Pacific island, he finds a strange bottle that's washed ashore. When he opens it, out pops a genie named Jeannie. I can't remember what the plot is but I'm sure there will be a point at which Tony tries to convince Dr. Bellows that he or Roger will break their leg tomorrow doing something fairly innocuous because it said so in (tomorrow's) paper. The same paper that Nelson got today.
Then tomorrow (in front of Dr Bellows) ONE of them will break their leg doing something simple and risk free leading Dr Bellows to think that Nelson gets tomorrow's papers today and can predict the future.

Yes, but Dailymotion is filled with too many and very long ads, at least from where I watch it ☹️ is really annoying and makes it very difficult to get the gist of an episode

edit: If you are bothered by the short clips here, Don't be. Now Jeanie is going to stay on the the moon until Major Healy rescues her himself without magic. A real cliff hanger

At least Jeannie wasn’t forbidden to do magic like that controlling idiot Darrin Stevens. Incidentally, the Jeannie House exterior was down the end of the same street of “houses” where Bewitched exteriors were filmed. Had the cameras been turned around, we could have seen the Stevens house, and Darrin and Samantha could have seen Jeannie. There are some shots from Bewitched pointed toward Major Nelson’s house, but blurriness o distant objects makes it difficult to recognise anything.
This is one of the reasons why I like Tony better than Darrin. He got annoyed at Jeannie's antics and attempts to help him but always appreciated her, whereas Darrin constantly felt threatened and emasculated and was constantly disrespectful towards Samantha and her relatives to the point of bigotry and discrimination.
@@humps678 Yup. Darrin was controlling and manipulative, and never respected his wife’s unique gifts. Not only that but he smoked inside the house which just made him a pig. Given that it is just comedy make-believe, but Tony’s interaction with Jeannie was far more realistic and true to life than Darrin’s ridiculous I have to do everything the hard way idiocy.

I don't know who did this story first.. Bewtiched also did this when Aunt Clara accidentally zaps a paper from tomorrow, claiming that Larry Tate broke his leg. Darrin and Sam then go on an adventure to try to stop it from happening.
Only difference was it ended up being last year's paper lol
