We live along the road from Aberfoyle. When we are there we normally park at the Lode and walk via the falls first. The Bluebells in May are really something to see locally.
I’m in Glasgow we have rented a big bus 🚌 heading to devils pulpet, sacred glen, then to aberfolye, I’m looking for more magical hike, places to sit meditation 🧘 🌎
I have been watching a lot of your videos. I love that you talk about your mental health and how important it is to stay in tune with your mind and body. Keep doing what you do. Sending lots of love your way 💜💙💜💙💜
We did this walk today, and we did the circuit in the same direction as you, and for the same reason (the waterfall at the end). And I'm glad we did it in that direction. The steep woodland path up the hill was muddy and wet, and very, very slippery - very slow going, but far better going up than down. But the stellar view from the top, along the full length of Loch Ard to a snow-covered Ben Lomond, was well worth the effort. Coming down again on the surfaced path was very easy going, and made for a quick descent to the waterfalls and the Lodge.
Great video. We live in the village and this is a weekly walk for us. Not sure why I found myself watching, but it was brilliant to see the landscape we take for granted year on year through your fresh eyes. Thanks for sharing
Brilliant Abbey😁..I can’t believe it I was driving up to Inversnaid the other day and looked up there at the cliffs of Craigmore ..I thought to myself o really fancy going up there …Then your video came on 😁..Cool video 😁 Cheers Robert
Hello Abbie the high wire activation above you is part of the go ape assault course which has location s around Scotland in case you were interested! Nice video.
Hi Abbie. Lovely walk. I appreciate the way you share your struggles and are able to tailor your hikes to work for you. It makes it feel so much more attainable for people like me who also need to manage pain when hiking.
unsolicited advice: I carry pepper spray not that I feel like I need it, and I carry an inreach in case I have an injury out of cell service. I carry a life straw and extra surgery snacks. a light rain jacket in Scotland any time of the year. never wear cotton! And, In parts of the US and Canada I also carry bear spray.
Another wonderful walk described in your appreciative voice. I love how you inspire us and this walk is something I would love to try. I'm not in that part of Scotland very much on my annual returns. I guess if I could do the Whaligoe Steps last October at 70, what's to stop me! 😄 Keep smiling and encouraging, my dear. You are so good at both.
Just sent a message to my pal to ask if we can go to Aberfoyle this year, because there is mountains and walks and views and shit. Thanks for the inspiration :)
I’ve been to Aberfoyle and surrounding areas so often but never seen the waterfalls. Thank you for your video. I think next week I will drive up there. I am about 2 hours away so not too bad for a day trip.
Such an inspiration you are, Abbie. I’m about ready to head out the door and do some hiking today. My eyes are complaining from too much writing so it’s time to take a break.
I remember thar Café from the first video i watched of you way back in 2020 of the Rob Roy Way you were sat in the same seat as before and your Nav hasn't changed lol

Beautiful 🌱🌿
Love the trees fresh, waxy, fragile leaf growth. Not long now, in 2022.
Lovely. Now that's another walk added to my to-do list. Thanks for sharing.

@@sarahseevinck8470here in Ireland it’s against the law to carry pepper spray. I carry hair spray instead
You really do find some lovely places to go and explore.
