I'll be editing this post as time goes on to stay relevant to the channel's current position. I'm currently playing through the second half of the Blue Lion's playthrough, so part 3 will focus on that section of Blue Lions. Edelguard wanted to allow the people to be free from classism as well as destroying the foundation of what made crests so important( being the church) while she does seem villainous you have to remember that the alliance has no great power in comparison to the empire or kingdom. It’s in shambles most of the time and needs lords to agree on everything. Edelguard had full control and changed fodaln by force cause it needed it.
