I am back from SB after two lovely weeks exploring, swimming and unfortunately getting bitten. I will be back though! I liked Burgas and the little foot fountains and panelled railway station and also Sozopol with it's bays. I miss it already! Old Nessebar was lovely, if a tad over commercialised I thought, but some may like umpteen shops and lights.
Brilliant video as usual get Ur self a large beer tell grassy put it on my tab I will pay him next season all the best Susan and Andrew from Oliver Enniskillen
Left Sunny Beach last monday. I was there alone for 12 day's. Happy to look your video it brings me back and holiday feeling come up again. Thanks greetings Sandra from Holland.
Love the video Susan and Andrew😊❤ but is it possible to do more videos about supermarkets, shopping malls, English speaking estate agents, immigration lawyers, museums and art galleries that exist in Sunny Beach /Nessebar? There must be many UK pensioners, like me, who are grappling with the complexities and challenges of a possible move to Bulgaria. I'm not in a position to move now but plan to move within a year to 18 months. I'd be looking to rent an apartment. Currently I live in a beautiful city in Romania, but can't fly to East Midlands from any of the airports here. Living in Sunny Beach/Nessebar near Burgas airport, which has seasonal connections to East Midlands, would make it much easier for my family to visit.
Jane, the shops and malls have a no filming policy, it is secret filming as such so as we live here we havnt done that. I have touched on property but the rules are very different depending on if your an eu passport holder or Uk. My channel is for Sunny Beach as such, a resort, it takes so much to do this what your after is something else covered well by others having moved here. Most agents have a translator on hand its never been a problem here, same a legal side they have to have a translator present . Apartments are easy to buy , land , a house again complicated as a Uk passport holder. Being on the coast and with Burgas nearby there isnt a language problem here. Paperwork is complicated as a Uk citizen and it is expensive to get residency including visas that require visits to London unless of course you qualify for a Irish passport then its simple.
Thanks so much for your reply Susan and Andrew 😊 🌴 🏖️. The information you provided will prove useful in my efforts to move to Sunny Beach/Nessebar. I went to ballroom dancing classes with my younger sister Di, and our friends Viv and Val, when I was six years old. We plan to spend a week in Sunny Beach next June 🎉. Viv and Val's Mum (Uncle Tom and Auntie Connie) used to go to Sunny Beach regularly and they loved it 🌴 ☀️ 🏖️. I'll likely fly to Burgas a week earlier than our planned visit, so that I can visit Estate Agents and Lawyer's, just to find some more information. A relief to know they will have translators available to help. I speak Spanish pretty well, some Greek, a little French and basic Romanian, though I find the language tough. Currently I'm trying to master the Bulgarian alphabet. Like Greek it's not easy, but I do find both languages easier than Romanian. Anyway, till I am in Sunny Beach I will continue to watch your fun videos and, when I'm in Sunny Beach with my sister and our best mates next year, hope to meet up with you. Take care and all the best from Alba Iulia.
Thanks for the vids guys:):) Now, if i were to purchase a place at Sunny Beach, one of the Apartments with a pool etc, would it be possible to live there year round and are there places to Eat out,Take aways and things to do year round?
many apartment complexes are all year use. Your passport decides, European its easy to get residency stay year round initially 5 years. Uk it is a bit of a challenge paperwork wise and can cost up to around 1K to get then 300 pounds each year for first five years. very quiet in winter, no pools of course. Yes there are a few bars and restaurants open in the area as people do live here .
I booked for October 13th and now wondering of it was too late in the year? We are planning to go to other towns around here, is it still worth it at this time of year?
The weather can be really nice but Sunny Beach is closed basically as a holiday resort. There are a few all season bars and restaurants open but little or no nightlife as they cater for residents as such. However Nessebar is a short bus hop, very active and there are restaurants and shops open as the Old Town is a tourist attraction all year. Up the coast Pomorie is interesting, then Burgas the city has lots to offer.
@@andrewwilkinson7105 No idea, it could be 18 or 20, people walking on the beach in sunshine or minus 2. Watch my videos from last year we filmed right through the winter.

Well closed. You will find condor is the main place then. The resort is closed, few places like Diamond stay open all year for a drink

I naturally get things wrong , especially on camera all goes to pot. It's amateur, loads of errors only show a fraction of what we filmed
