Honestly thats a beautiful mountain / city landscape. Glad you have the balls to do this. Thanks for the awesome videos you make man, can't wait to get an RX-7 FC and get up on the mountains myself.
Good job man! Doing great! Memorize the road. Practice throttle control. Give it a little more or hold it on exit to keep the weight over the rear wheels for stability.
Love this video! This truly reminds me of when my friend first brought me for a craziest ride of my life in his near bone stock GT86 which was on cheapo Chinese tyres attacking the dark mountain roads, just that the roads are slightly wider than the roads in your video. Even the driving style is pretty similar but without the amazing handbrake drifts like yours. Being able to experience this 3 years ago had truly changed my opinion on 86/BRZ since as well as my life in various ways although I do not own one yet.
Bro I’ve been seeing you on IG absolutely ripping her. Sick that you popped up here too. Be safe, watching someone send their stock BRZ like this gives my broke self hope to get out there soon. Rn assetto corsa is the only place I can send it 😂.
You may want a baffled oil pan. Flat/boxer engines are significantly more prone to oil starvation than their inline or V shaped counterparts, I know the newer BRZs and GR86s have oil starvation issues on track. Then again, with the very high quality, expertly manufactured, precision engineered tires you're rocking, I'm not sure you can sustain enough lateral Gs to score up any bearings or cylinder walls. Also, very good driving! You are very smooth with the wheel and I can't see your pedals but I can tell you're being very deliberate with how you use the brake and the throttle to get the car to turn in or straighten out.
@@8gxge oh god up that oil weight, its been known to cause damage when the oil gets too thin with high heat aka racing drifting etc, and they only lowered oil weight requirements for mpg stuff, try like 5w-20 or 30 full synthetic should be fine but do your own research and don't go too thick like 10w 40 etc
It's a 2nd gen problem. And really only the 2022 models. They apparently fixed it after that. Tho this gen did have the rtv issues, most of them are usually fine. I've seen too many BRZ/86/FRS drifting/ tracked to think it's a serious problem for these cars. The problem is when owners drive hard and don't check oil levels because all of them usually burn a bit.
@RXIsaac they do? Both BRZ and FRS i had never had an oil-burning issue, tho i can imagine that happening if you spend lots of time at high rpm's. Gotta say there is a surprising difference in powerbands between the "black-top" and "red-top" engines
@@Drake5153 any performance engine can and usually will burn a bit of oil at high rpms. Some say depending on how the car was treated during break in, will determine if the engine burns lots of oil or not. I am confused on the "red top vs black top" thing tho. The only engine I'm familiar with that has a red top and black top are the SR20s from Nissan. Unless there's something I don't know, I don't think the FA platform, or any Subaru motor has a red top or black top identification.
Genuinely one of the best modern touge videos out there. I love how raw it is, just you and the car, feels really close and personal. Nice job!
always a lot of fun to see the actual capabilities of factory cars
sick stuff man
Love the "grain-eyness" of the video, adds such a cool vibe
It’s kinda like a “90s anime vibe”
@@Alexkeys141 Yeah It's really nice

Dude said one more drift and hit the nastiest angle possible🔥

Isnt this model of brz with factory "oil starvation" problem when in corners? Probably would check oil pressure while doin hard driving like this.
