😂 nope i buy new ones every year.. sometimes twice a year. They sell a 3 pack at fleet farm ( camo, orange, and green) i usually just keep a couple pairs in my pockets and swap them out if they get wet. Cheap and replaceable
It’s a little messy out there right now but it will get better eventually. I’d be lying if i said i wasn’t worried about the landings over the next few days.. stupid weather
It will be good for at least another 3-4 years. I’m just basing that on the different year classes in the system that I’ve been seeing over the last 2 years. Could be good for longer, it just all depends on spawning, forage, over harvest.. etc
Thanks! Just bought the Clam Nanook thermal XT. absolutely love it! One of the lightest and well built 2 man shacks out there and it fits perfectly under the tonneau cover in the truck bed. I’m 5’ 9” and can stand in it easily also which is nice
Biggest reason i like my tip ups is because the line is in the water and the hole is covered. (Prevents freezing) i can also carry 6 tip ups in a small case or a bucket and not have to worry about 6 extra rods with holders. And i really like watching flags pop 😂. The only real advantage that tip downs have is that they’re probably a little better for a light bite. But all in all I’d say tip ups are the better choice in my eyes.
Those tip-ups will keep you hopping. Love the perch action!
We love it too! Lots more perch action in the near future 😁
My year and a half old son watched the video with me. He clapped every time you pulled a fish out of the hole. Lol
😂 that is awesome!! Raising him right!!
Great job Christa passing on the outdoors experience to the young one! Nice work Cole! 👍
We can’t wait for little man to arrive! Super excited to teach him everything we know 😁🎣

Missed my super star. Damn warm weather!!
No kidding! Needs to get cold again 🧊
I'm impressed you've had the same pair of gloves for so long. I usually lose at least one of them every year

The Bago system can be a challenge but it’s also very rewarding if you put your time in. Super fun body of water to fish 🎣

Great day on the ice!
Yes it was!
Hot bite!!! Thanks for the gear breakdown. The weight on your main tip up line is something I will try. How heavy about? Thanks!
No problem, i like to use 1/8oz barrel weights for the top weight. 🎣
Great video 👍 what shack do you have? Looking to upgrade

@@CNCoutdoors ok thanks for the information
see a lot of guys preferring tip-downs for perch instead of the tip-ups. any pros/cons in your opinion?

Great day of perch fishing for you guys. Were you sitting on any structure? Like rocks or weeds or was this just sand/mud bottom?
Mostly a sand/ mud bottom with a little bit of sand grass here and there. We were fairly close to rock and weed structure though
What side of the lake was this on?
West side
Winnebago is a great
Love fishing the Bago system!
It is said that child birth is so painful that a women can almost imagine what a man feels when his fish gets away.😿😓🎣
😂 😂 right!
