honestly the most unexpected buff to both the minigunners is that they can detect leads
It's now usable for hardcore

I love how dps towers aren’t just getting overshadowed by accel anymore, now you have the minis for solo plays, engineers for its all around effectiveness and pursuits for being really helpful in hardcore with its stun immunity and flying/lead detection.
And ranger for support and full map range
and maybe a ghost only being able to be killed by fire, beams, or electricity and not bullets or something like that.
Accel is better than engi engineer is very bad mid game
@@wipoh8225engineer is better than accel,only issue being engi can’t benefit from commander,and even then they have a comparable dps especially considering accel terrible targeting

One wrong thing about the old G-Mini. It actually dealt 3 damage at lv2.
And it also dealt 2 dmg at lvl 0

I love how they gave the maxed golden minigunner 2 Golden miniguns on his Turret, it’s a nice tribute & reference to the Og max level minigunner where he would commit akimbo with 2 miniguns in both hands.

Yea the new models are great after being ignored for almost 2 years and additionally the skins feel more unique as well
The cool thing about the reworked minigunner skin is the crusader, because instead of minigun, he uses a automatic crossbow.

What I do find interesting about the new mini was the dual barrel thing, back then the golden mini had 1 barrel compared to the 2 barrels most mini skins had, but now every mini skin except golden mini has a single barrel.

Golden Minigunner would be Low or Medium A in my opinion.
It isn't the best for trio or quad, maybe for the middle game though.
Mainly it would be used to clutch if enemies got to close.
In solo or duo, Golden Minigunner is a powerhouse!
Minigunner gets a Medium B or High B.
Its good for players to maybe get their first solo triumph.
I remember using a strategy with a Minigunner a while ago, and it was decent. Now it might have amazing hardcore potential, since both Minigunners have lead and high DPS.
Overall, decent tower for Gold Minigunner is decent for pros, and could possibly be used for hardcore strategies aswell as normal Minigunner. Normal Minigunner is amazing for newer players.

The old G mini used to deal 4 damage at level 3 not 3 and it dealt 3 at level 2 and 2 damage at level 0

New Minigunner DPS is almost the same as old Golden Minigunner DPS, that is some huge buff!
fr now gold mini has put its self above cowboy and probably sits in 4th behind pyro, soldier and scout

Ye it's was always good but kinda a waste to grind for unless you had only minigunner and scout unlocked no other gold towers because at level 50 grinding for acel was better now a g mini is better to where it's basically equal

We should consider about enemy-defense for these , with that in mind , mini g rework wouldn’t fair well unless it’s paired with electro or pyro (not freezer , bc yes)

As a old golden mini main i can confirm that the old g mini did 2 damage at level 0 and 1 and 3 damage at level 2
the thing i love most about the rework design is its not futuristic anymore, it didnt fit well
The rework is basically less range a bit longer firerate and a bit more expensive oh yeah and a MASSIVE dps improvement so much so that I would consider this just a buff and remodel

Honestly, I've always thought of Gmini as the best DPS tower. I myself love playing the game alone, or at max with 1 friend for harder events or maps. The 40 placement limit has always given the edge over all other options for me. Alongside that, each individual mini was pretty cheap, making it easy to get up. Finally, the old gold skin max level just looked so cool. Overall, it didn't need this change. From personal experience, it could already pretty much destroy almost all maps on solo fallen, and now it's just better.
Funfact:now max lvl minigunner uses juggernauts minigun(removed tower,hc beta)
Since the new update buffed the dmg and nerfed the fire rate a little, it makes mini gunner really op with commander buff
Low S Tier. It's good, but it's still highly outclassed by other towers, such as the Accelorator, Engineer, and Pursuit. It's still very good for soloing, and most people have been underestimating it so much now.

So when i play badland,pizza and p2w and even nornal modes i notice that now you WON'T get any cash from the dmg not from your tower,for example:when a player deal 8 dmg he will get 8 cash and the teammates will get 2 cash which is 100%+25%×3=175%,so that,when you kill a 8 hp zombie,your team get total of 14 cash.But now when you have no tower that can deal dmg,you basically get 0 cash although your teammate deal a billion dmg,your cash receive from killed enemies is still 0 which is heavily reduce cash from enemies from 175% to 100% and you get LESS THAN 57%(100%/175%≈57%) FROM KILLED ENEMIES ,this is a HUGE problem because it make the early def player become useless if they only up farm to lv 3.This problem lead to another problem,that is ranger,pursuit and accel become trash because they are cash stealer,this make accel become the worst tower,and how ridiculous,minigunner now is the best tower:a tower can deal good dps but not so high to be cash stealer.
the range and cost nerf honestly perfectly balances out the damage buff.
Gmini is literally now the worst golden tower. Even normal mini is better. This update just further made gold Minigunner worse and now its a D tier

2:43 there's 2 old gold minis. the one you're showing stats for is the oldest one, which had equal price and stats to regular mini at level 0-2, but you're showing the price from the 5.13.22/golden perks (?) update. it definitely never had 443 CE

The problem wasnt the dps, the problem was the price. golden minigunner got nerfed to being more expensive and now it did again, it was intended on being spammed and you can only get so much cash before you end up having to sell towers, its the whole reason you cant use engineer AND accel at the same time.

One guy probs got it wrong when teaching someone what it's called and that spread thru the community leading some people to subconsciously replace the name in their minds from COA or Call OF Arms to CTA or Call TO arms

You got many of the stats wrong for the old mini. For example, you calculated old normal mini and G-mini's level 4 firerate based on the _old_ ROF calculation, and the old G-mini stats are just bonkers:
- Level 0 and 1 both dealt 2 damage.
- Level 2 dealt 3 damage.
- Level 3 dealt 4 damage.
Old lvl 3 mini had 0.05(excluding rof) firerate not 0.08 (you corrected it on th g version)

@@Monarchus no youre wrong the rof bug gives 0.008 while old mini had 0.05 so it should've been 0.058 he did fix it on the Golden version tho
If you do the math, the old lvl 4 g mini used to do 75dps not 103.45. this means it had a firerate of 0.058 not 0.08
Besides the wonderfull DPS, it also has a faster revive, so it's better for late game and events
what they could do with the skins of the minigunner is have the same animation, but on the final upgrade, give the same 2 minigun animation, but different skin or animation. "It would be so awesome."
Want a fun fact? Here's a fun fact.
About 25 normal minigunners deal better DPS than 8 Accelerators (I've even got calculated proof)
8 accelerators have 2 290.08 DPS (286.26*8), and 25 normal minigunners have 2314.75 DPS (92.59*25).
This means that for every accelerator maxxed out, about 3 max minigunners can achieve better DPS than the former.

I like the rework but I personally put low A teir because it is cheap easy to get right off the bat and a good grinder. I'm not a fan of the new normal mini g but I like the new gold mini g
The g mini max is so cool that both me and a random player when silent for a few sec and type nothing but .....
The gold minigunner is my favorite tower and seeing it getting a rework is amazing.

Okay I don’t understand why they had to buff the minigunner this much tho. The game is already so easy and buffing the mini just makes the game easier for newer player. You can literally solo fallen with mini and pyro+support. Mini was fine for what it was but this is just kinda too op for a tower that’s for newer players.

ngl i like the level 4 golden mini its a nice throwback to the double golden minigun gear
bro from what i remember, Minigunners cost was
Lv: 0, $2000
Upgrade 1- $250
Upgrade 2- $650
upgrade 3- $5500
upgrade 4- $9000
Can’t forget having lead detection now makes it added damage to lead enemies in something like hardcore mode
Turret already exeisted in strats like Lucille so not a huge change
Rate the gold skins again but with the new golden mini gun in it
Golden minigunner is almost like war machine cuz had big machine gun
Techically the best value upgrade was the non buffed rocketed with Direct Hit getting 2.5x more damage
Even though I know the stats I still rewatch these videos because there so well made

I think that now lost souls is impossible because miniguneer was the key to survive at the waves of scout bosses, now the cost is higher and its difficultier to geti it.
I mean sledger, wardens and other things can tank the scouts pretty eqsy

G mini cost/dps is not that far from accel, so if you are playing something like pw2(or any other gamemode where you can get a lot of money) its better to use g mini
