Your Barry Gibb hair-do is on point bro .👌🏼 “ Someone belonging to someone” official video - a smooth BG’s jam I think you’ll enjoy reacting to…. It was a soundtrack off the movie Saturday night fever .🙏🏼
They were on Arsenio Hall more than once. They did You win again on the show too and an interview (can’t remember other song they did that show. Great suggestions Sandra. Thank you for doing these great performances. ❤❤❤
8:37 just so you know there is an black and white live version of them, singing to love somebody you got to see Barry without his beard😂 ☮️❤️🙏🌍🌎🌏🇺🇸❤️☮️
This was during that time they were charting all over the UK, but most of the US still had them stupidly locked in disco jail. Some fine albums went under the radar, especially E.S.P., a personal fave.
"When He's Gone" is one of my favs from the album High Civiliation (the title track is great too). "To Love Somebody" is always a great early classic (although my favorite version is the black & white from 60s) - always love the Bee Gees reactions!
If it says Bee Gees, I'm there. That's not To Love Somebody, that's When He's Gone. I could tell in the first 3 notes. 😁 Barry's hair was particularly luxurious in this time period. Oops, I should have waited longer to comment. You should go back to the late 60's performance, 68 I think.
I've seen this before and in my opinion this has the best version of To Love Somebody they have every performed. I love both songs and the music is unique to the band's backing instrumentation. Robin killed When He's Gone and Barry killed To Love Somebody. The harmonies were out of this world. The first song is When He's Gone for the High Civilization album and there is a studio version on video that is amazing too.
60s: "And the Sun Will Shine" or "The Change is Made". Early 70's: "Alive" or "Saw a New Morning". Mid 70s: "Mr. Natual" or "Wind of Change" (since you already did Nights on Broadway). 80s: "Don't Fall In Love With Me" or "Living Eyes". 90's: "I Surrender", or '"Alone", or "My Lover's Prayer" (or really just about anything from Still Waters album). 2001: "This is Where I Came In", "She Keeps on Coming", or "Voice in the Wilderness". 2016: (from Barry's solo album) "Home Truth Song", "Grand Illusion", or "In the Now".
Great clip. Have you reacted yet to Immortality, a song the Gibbs wrote with Celine Dion in mind. There is a video of her joining them during their concert to perform it--they wrote another masterpiece & her voice was perfect to do it justice.
@J.Fro90 THANK YOU!!! Try the 1987 Dutch TV Countdown video of them doing their #1 Europe hit “YOU WIN AGAIN”. America didn’t really get to hear this song a lot but it went #1 everywhere else around the world. The American radio stations were still kind of blackballing them from the “disco” years! Stupidity at its best!

Love your channel, such a good vibe.
Thank you so much, I appreciate that
The Bee Gees were on everything. Mike Douglas, The Tonight Show, Oprah, Donahue...
Love, When He's Gone. Great song.
barbra streisand make it like a memory

I appreciate that! And yes I've done a reaction to them doing this song in 68
When he's gone is a beautiful song. And Ronin is fantastic.
I'm gonna be checking out the recorded song too to fully take it in considering that I wasn't expecting that song at all.
Never knew that the Bee Gees was on Insenio show
