But, it does require quite a bit of discipline (as the mind has been allowed to wander about without our checking in on it or offering guidance for much of our lives). How I use mental diet is to set my intention (whatever it may be) and stay mindful of my thoughts so that I think only about my desired outcome. I allow my mind to imagine the joy I will feel when my desire becomes part of my reality. When I notice my mind wandering off (and it will), I gently bring my mind back. Eventually, I will begin to naturally and automatically think positively about my desire. Then, my mind will imprint these thoughts on to my subconscious and the desire eventually hardens into reality. I hope this helps!

Update… he came back for a brief time. It took a lot of energy on my part to bring him back into my consciousness. But, he was still the same and dealing with a karmic partner who was siphoning all his energy. So, he told me he was going to therapy to be with her. They were attending couples therapy. Good ! So many conflicting ideas about this in the manifesting world. Like, some people say you should just have one imaginal scene and imprint it clearly and then drop it and you're good. Then, this girl did all kinds of affirming all day it seems. Personally, I'm sick of falling back into the old story. It's such an awful feeling every time. I need to be able to get out of it somehow when it happens, nip it in the bud. But I haven't figured out how yet. Then, people say if you haven't got your deeper self concept stuff under control, everything else is pointless and SP won't manifest. I've been doing everything I can for a few weeks now. No hint of anything from her. She could message or call me any time on multiple platforms so she's clearly not experiencing anything from what I've been doing. I let my SP go today after a very odd 4+ years. We had a talk for a few hours just tonight and cried lots..things have been very complicated, we weren't technically together but def love eachother. Today I work on SC and well, when you love someone let them go, if they come back to you it was meant to be.
I feel like putting work into myself and my SC needs to be a priority at this point in my life. I know we are meant to be together it's just factual and it will turn around fast because *I* said and know so. It was just messing with my head terribly but.... "everything in my life is perfect" so any minute and now, things will fall into place.
I learned that just letting go even if it hurts will really just help you in the end. You can still have it all and will have it all. The anxiety just isnt worth it sometimes when you really just need youself right now.

Wow! I've been into the LOA for years and for the last 4 yrs I've been building and recently marketing my online business with ppl ignoring me and not making any sales. Your speech about being on equal footing with the ppl I'm approaching instead of placing them above me is what is going to be the game-changer, cos i have been doing affirmations for months without the real desired results. Now I know why and what to do about it........ thank you soooo much.
As someone who was a server and bartender (it’s a sales position believe it or not) I always looked at myself as their equal. Their my friends and I’m hosting at my beautiful mansion and I’m taking their order so they can enjoy the finest hospitality. Needless to say I had so many regulars and jobs would beg me not to go….
So many conflicting ideas about this in the manifesting world. Like, some people say you should just have one imaginal scene and imprint it clearly and then drop it and you're good. Then, this girl did all kinds of affirming all day it seems. Personally, I'm sick of falling back into the old story. It's such an awful feeling every time. I need to be able to get out of it somehow when it happens, nip it in the bud. But I haven't figured out how yet. Then, people say if you haven't got your deeper self concept stuff under control, everything else is pointless and SP won't manifest.
I've been doing everything I can for a few weeks now. No hint of anything from her. She could message or call me any time on multiple platforms so she's clearly not experiencing anything from what I've been doing. Or maybe she is and it just hasn't reached fever pitch enough for her to reach out. I'm determined to let her come to me and not then other way around because she broke up with me.
