I just used PLC Net tool (from your store) and didn't know why I couldn't upload program through Transfer Utility tool (it won't read the internal files of the hmi 800 ) so looks like only Panel View Plus or I need some update (firmware) in the software ,so CCW worked and got files from bad hmi so waiting on new one to download the hmi file Thanks Tim.
Hi Tim, I am using the a micro 830 qwb and t4t hmi, i already made communication with the PLC using an USB cable, i want to make a communication to the HMI using a 1761 cbl but i could not do it. how can i communicate my computer with the HMI?
Love the videos Tim, wanted to ask if you ever connected a different manufacturer HMI to a Micro850. I am struggling to connect a EZ3 HMI to the Micro 850 via ethernet, can not get it to communicate.
Hi Allen, chances are it is in the path and communications protocol. Those are the two things that most often cause trouble no matter what brand the HMI is. Good luck!

@@TimWilborne I had a problem with version 5.013 rslinx does not read it and when I ping it, it responds. So i delete the harmony files of RsLinx and same problem not read. I had to go down to version 5.012 with a USB so I could read it with Rslinx to be able to get version 6.011 with ControlFLASh. just sharing in case someone has the same problem. thanks for your videos mr Tim.

I think the T4T uses a 2711-NC13 to communicate with your PC.

That is going to be a tough one, probably Visual Studio related. Might start with a fresh install.

That would be good. I just had to upgrade some, I have a few more to upgrade and will try to hit the record button.

How to communicate Compact logic L32E with Panel view 800 HMI
I don't think it is possible with the CIP driver. Maybe Modbus?
