Happy Good Friday everyone and I wish everyone a Happy Easter! Feels great to post some solid shortline content again! And our next video will be another shortline in Arkansas!
Great video! At the 2:12 mark, if you look at the backside of the fuel cell, you can see water pissing out. If I'm not mistaken, it's coming from the block drain which is how accumulation like rain water that enters through the exhaust stack is safely drained from the cylinders to prevent hydro-locking and other damage. I'm no expert, but I do remember when I worked at Titan, we had an old GP10 we used to switch and every morning we had to manually open drain cocks on the block to allow rain water to safely escape during engine start up. Looks like the same case here, but I could be wrong.
Great catch of the CAGY with that GP11 and those stout horns! I've always liked stories of a short line railroad that's still surviving on the rails. Thanks again LRP for sharing this video with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort! Cheers from Delmar, Delaware.
Good one. Engines like this make G&W lines special. That and G&W tends to leave a lot of old landmarks (milepost, crossings, signals if you're lucky, etc) still standing. Have you been to Columbus to see the CAGY roundhouse? They have an old CAGY diesel on display there and Columbus has a ton of short line action as well.
Thx for showing these shortlines. But many unanswered questions? How often do they run? Who are the customers in the port and along the line? What commodities are shipped?
Since they serve a port Be Cool if they use Some Frap Grants/or Dept of Transportation transloads facilities Grants to rebuild Their "Sad washout" Neat video and beautiful Company 😊😊😊😊❤❤❤
Does It ever hook to a Class 1 railroad network? I looked on Google maps and it doesn't seem to hook to any other railroad to distribute its goods across the country.
We both come on duty at 0700. The Greenwood crew typically leaves Greenwood one day then Greenville the next. Some days they may not run at all depending on if we get cars from CN.
Sorry haha! Most of the time I don’t have time to make 30 minute productions. I had to head out to film another railroad in this case. Not to mention I find that the minutes in the 5-10 minute range usually are received pretty well.

Happy Good Friday! Awesome video! Looking forward to the next one
Great video of the Columbus & Greenville Railway Bishop! I absolutely like that RS3L that 8720 has.
Great video man! Glad you were able to come out and catch us. It was great meeting you!
Great video LRP! It’s great to see some non G&W orange equipment surviving on a G&W property.
Great video!

I visited the roundhouse probably 25 years ago, and if I recall it was an old Baldwin on display. I'd love to sight see again with a good camera!
Excellent video!

Those OMNX gondolas are for scrap metal.
The green field shot was great

Awesome stuff man! Love the horn
Good stuff! I hope that I can document this line before everything becomes orange and black.
before the line becomes boring
As a truck driver that ran mostly in DIXIE, I have seen a lot of Short Lines .
A far cry from the Baldwins and Gandy Dancar's of the past.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Man I was hoping your next video had some blue and white in it. 😉
Many Gods prays that CUSTOMERS encourage The RAILWAYS to rebuild Their Washouts...😊😊😊😊😊😊
Shoreline always has Good History in USA & CAN

CAGY interchanges with Canadian National in Greenwood.
Nice video! Are the two trains mentioned in the video daily jobs with a regular 0800 ish start?
The road job doesn't start off in Greenville everyday. They start in Greenwood some days. I'd say get there at 7 to be safe.

it Would Nice To see 30min video That 5minnot going to Work

What kind of horn is in that unit?
Fouled RS3L
"A washout". Corporate lingo for "Yay! We can abandon track we don't wanna serve, & the hell with the consequences!" 😡😡
