Thanks so much for this review! I’m currently taking courses at my local community college and I’m about to purchase one of these guys to make small stuff while I have free time at home. Real insightful

Thanks for this. I’m trying to decide on a shimpo aspire or the speedball artista. Leaning towards the speedball because it’s a standard wheel head size, right? You can get standard bats and giffin grips for it?

Yes all those things will fit. The wheel head is a 12" on this model.

    Any suggestions on standing throwing?

I prefer to stand mostly because its better on my back. I would definitely try it out and see how you like it.

Do you have a foot pedal for it?

Find a volume pedal for an electric keyboard (piano). It is half the price and does the same thing. Mine slows the top speed of the wheel a tiny bit, but not enough to cause a problem in throwing.

@@scottkonop9331 just bought this wheel without the foot pedal. Which brand did you buy? Or does it matter? Wanted to make sure the jack matches that of the wheel. Thanks a bunch in anticipation of your help!

I did not go for a foot pedal and since I use it standing I really just like using the knob. It works well still.
